In today's blog I will share with you some childhood stories about sports.
I have so many childhood sports memories that I cannot share with you all in one episode, so I will share them in two episodes.
Today I will share some parts with you...
As I played many sports in my childhood, I could not share about all the sports in the last episode. Today in the second part I shared about the rest of the sports that I enjoyed in my childhood.
As a child, I was the first to be called by the team's group captain in Kabaddi because I had a lot of energy. We used to cut the ground in a land near our house and cut the table for playing Kabaddi. While playing this kabaddi many times different parts of the body have been cut. The scars of those cuts still remind me of those childhood memories.
I also played hide and seek in my childhood. I used to play this hide and seek during the day and also during the summer when the electricity went out, we all used to play this hide and seek with my friends at night. The elders of the house did not always play hide and seek like this at night because there was always a fear of snakes in the village. Maybe then we were not afraid of these snakes but now when we think about those things we are afraid.
I used to get beaten a lot at home for playing marbles. I always had a bottle full of marbles at home. And sometimes mother would throw them in the water of the pond. I would have suffered a lot if I threw away the hard-earned marbles. Then again I would find some way and collect this marble.
Besides, I had more or less experience of playing some other games such as Ram-Shyam-Yadu-Madhu, Thief-Robber-Police, Ludu, Carrom, Cards, Chess all in my childhood life. Then while enjoying these games I never thought that these games will be lost with time but with time everything is lost somehow.
We may be the last generation who got the chance to enjoy these games. Children of the current generation may not even know the names of all the games. They are now busy with mobile games and various computer games. They have less idea about different games outside.
