History reminds us of both good times. It gives us inspiration and warnings and lesson as well. History is mostly filled with dreadful incidents which have costed humanity alot. In the name of wars,freedom,revolutions,conflicts and uprisings ,we have seen much bloodshed. Though we loath from those bloodsheds and make leagues to curb them but we never learn from them and do same mistakes again and again.
History has been veey fascinating subject for me. I love exploring the history of subcontinent of India. From himalyans to indian ocean,the area is full of diversity,tales of gallantry,incidents of horrible bloodsheds,establishment and destruction of most advanced civilizations,empires,diversity of religion,colonial reminisces and freedom struggles. Pakistan ,mu homeland also came into being after joint efforts of Muslim league and Congress to liberate India from British colony.
It was Aug 14,1974 on which Pakistan came into being. From the start,due to absense of proper infrastructure,credible leadership and lack of resources,Pakistan got entangled into so many problems. From dictatorships to economical turmoil,from corruption to security challenges and from poverty to human right violation, there are many horrid instances in our 77 years old history. But there is one incident that still hurts every patriotic person . It was the incident happened on Dec 16 ,1971 when a part of us ,who were side by side to us in freedom movement,who had much sacrifices for Pakistan movement and infact who were originator of this movement ,was detached from us.
Populism is not the essence of democracy,it erodes democracy and system. Populism exploits public deprivations and leverge on public anguish and anger to gain political gains. The instant cause of the detachment was populist behaviour of two renowned political figures in both wings. Both were not ready to show flexibility. Apart frim this instant cause there were some other causes as well which were simmering from day first whether it was language controversy or less proviosion of rights, calamities or political apathy towards that region or geographical contraints or political maneuvering that intentionally kept that wing deprived to keep hegemony.

No matter what were the causes, the reality is a part if us was detached from us . Brothers who share same origin and who fought against tyranny together,decided to put back on each others. And this wrote a dreadful incident on the pages of history.
A successful nation is one who takes inspiration from golden times of history and learn lessons from the bad incidents. Those who repeat same mistakes and do not learn from previous blunders,fall into the chaos and cannot make there position strong on global front. Still there are many challenges Pakistan is grappling with and solution to them is only in learning past mistakes.

Taareekh ka sb say bara sabaq ye hai k muslamanoun be tareekh say koi sabaq nahi seekha.
We keep on repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Consequently, the failure follows.

Did you notice what we mourn for this day now? It's no more remembered as SUKOOT-E-DHAKA but SANIHA-E-PESHAWAR and last year there was a holiday for it in Punjab. Amazing, isn't it.

Exactly we haven’t learnt anything from our past. We lost our one wing just because we deprived them of their rights and today a province is making hues and cries for resources exploitation and rights deprevity.
The situation is same. One faced enforced killing,disappearances and resources exploitation and other is facing same now. One brought a bloody revolution and other are also inserting blood in their uprising.

They were one who formed muslim league,they were those who ran Pakistan movement,they were those who actually fought against british colonialist. Actually they were true Pakistani. That part had nore struggle and scrifices for this country than those who are being called as Pakistani

History carries both triumphs and tragedies, and Pakistan’s journey is a testament to that. The loss of 1971 was painful, but as you said, true progress lies in learning from past mistakes. I hope that the nation finds strength in unity and works towards a better future.
