You've got a wonderful changes layed down for the year and I wish you all the best to stick with it till the end.
Hearing people talk negatively about you or in any form can be annoying and I think your plan to just say thank you and move on is a noble act if you can pull through with it.
Also stopping being judgemental is cool too, many of us do this not knowing how it affects the others or even knowing the whole truth, so keep up the good work in this and you'll have a healthier relationship with others.
It’s definitely not going to be easy, but I will give it my best.
