There are times we're faced with some tough challenges that leave us in a tight spot to make a drastic decision, having to choose between doing something entirely terrible that would be for the greater good of saving or helping many lives or doing what's good even though it'll affect the lives of a lot of people. Like I said, it's a tough decision to make, and thinking about it now as I write, I'm finding it hard to pick side and would have thoroughly sorted out an alternative to help save the day rather than pick either side that'll still affect lives.
I've never been in such a situation, and neither do I pray I'll find myself in such a situation because just thinking about what I'll do is just driving me crazy; I'm not the type who thrives in such situations, but then making me choose between doing something bad to save many lives just seems inhuman still, although it would have been viewed as a justified act done for the greater good, but then is it really good if it'll affect some people badly?
Well, to answer this properly and to easily pick a side for the sake of this prompt, I'll say paraventure: there's an outbreak of a deadly disease or illness that's bound to claim many lives, and I happen to find myself with a tough decision to make when told that I'm the only cure and I've got to sacrifice my life, then the cure can be extracted from my body to save humanity, or I'll choose to live and watch humans struggle with the disease or probably ultimately die before my eyes because of my refusal to sacrifice myself.
I guess then that'll be much easier for me to decide. Although it's a terrible and tough decision to consider the impact my death will have on my friends and family, my family especially, even though I won't love to see them go through such tough times knowing I sacrifice my own life, I'll still rather leave myself as the sacrificial lamb than watch humanity plight with such diseases; it'll be disheartening for me to shoulder such.
I mean, how can I live by myself, living and watching humans die, because I insisted on holding onto my own life when I could have easily sacrificed it and saved everyone? So with that being said, I would ultimately opt to do the terrible thing for the greater good, for my love for humanity, and to give everyone hope again.
After all, what's the point of life? Regardless of whether I sacrifice myself or not, I'll still die at some point in time, and I don't even know when that'll be, so sacrificing and going that way won't only be a good course that saves humanity, but one that might even put my name in the heart of many as a hero that gave his life for the survival of humans.
I only painted the scenario of the deadly disease to help me answer this prompt probably, because on a normal day, I don't think I'll find it easy to pick side of the situation involves something else, but with this and the fact that my life would be what's at stake alongside the toll it'll take on my family, I'll still find it easy to decide, because humanity deserves the right to live on in peace, good health, and happiness.
Hive Power Up Day
Happy new month, everyone! It's a pleasant experience to be in the month of November, and I wish us all the best in this new month, praying that all our good wishes come to pass and that we all have reasons to smile throughout the month. Being a new month and the first day, that means today is hive power-up day, and I'll be joining other Hivers to power up this month again. Will you be doing the same?

So today I wish I could power up more than I've been in the last few months, but at the end of the day, I can only accumulate and power up 20 hive, and that increased my total hive power to 11,869 hives; that's awesome, and I can't help but wonder how far I'll go before the year runs out.
All photos are mine.

In this scenario, I believe we would all be willing to save the world but in other instances, I wouldn’t consider it cos humans are not grateful. They will one day sit and say you didn’t do anything for them.
But, that’s shouldn’t stop us from doing good right?
Yea that's very true, it's much easier to make a decision with that, than other situation, even though humans can be ungrateful.
Translate: It’s difficult to make such a choice, and it even makes you wonder if people truly deserve a second chance.
That's more like it, you're right.

It is a very complicated situation and I honestly believe that the decision can only be known if someone is going through that scenario, difficult to predict how to act in extreme cases, because one does not know how to react in different situations. Maybe you can have an approximation of what to do, but at least in my case, I would never know exactly what decision to make.
