Fell and fail source
It was the day before Christmas Eve,
And I sent a girl a friend request.
Face covered with mask, pink gown half a sleeve,
It was her profile photo, which I guess was clicked in a haste.
That day, I spent, a little anxious,
Opening the app, now and then, for a notification.
A few days passed, and my behavior grew obnoxious,
And finally it came, the first step towards hallucination.
Began our chat, with a brief introduction,
Soon, our typed texts started exchanging emotion.
It went on for months, and we fell in love,
With every single emoji, in our hearts, we dove.
But something was wrong, that we couldn’t neglect,
She always asked me to convert, that I might regret
A staunch Muslim she was, me an atheist Christian
Insisting on a trial I couldn’t defend!
In no time, we had to reach an end,
As this love I couldn’t retain
Probably, this did cause, in her mind, a furore.
Someone I intend to spend life with, “my future”
I didn’t even see, touch, hug or kiss
I tried to amuse and not make her piss
Unfriended I was, swiftly from her list!
This was our love story and not a bliss.
"This was our love story and not a bliss."
The poetry is about a girl I met and left in peace, we met online on 2go and not the street. Yes, everything didn’t workout but that never stopped me from believing in true love. I know one day I will definitely get my hands on someone daughter and take her to alter. The time it will be doesn't really matter. cuz in church and court we will be joined together, there will be no one to put asunder. We’ll live in love and peace forever, till whenever.
This is my entry for this week’s #creativesunday
I hope you love it

Wow, I love how creative you were with the lines, it was so nice reading through that I did not want it to end.
I'm happy that despite all that happened you still believe in true love. No matter what happens, we should always believe that there is true love.
I'm glad you love it... Yeah.. There's true love out there
Yes there is 😊😍.
Hello @vinally this is a beautiful poem but you really should learn how to source your images properly because simply writing "Pictures from pexels" isn't enough.
You need to add the link from the pexels website where you got the image from. Please do that right away.
I've learnt that from a colleague today... I knew it's not proper
.... I'll fix it henceforth..... Thanks for bringing it to my notice
Okay, please edit this post and do that right away.
Thanks man... I've edited the post
Your sourcing is wrong. When I click on the link, it should take me to the image on the site (pexels) where you got the image from.
@prayzz kindly teach me how to do this properly... I'm definitely doing it the wrong way.. I'll hit on discord
