Growing up, I loved playing games on my mom's smartphone but as I grew older and owned a device of my own, that interest of mine suddenly disappeared.
I've found myself installing different apps on my phone that I've ended up uninstalling again, you might say I don't need them or it is just my phone that doesn't have enough storage capacity.
In today's world, all apps play a significant role in our lives, though some might not be as important as others but then they can still be useful to some people. The advancement of technology has birthed so many applications thereby making our lives easy "Not truly easy though" but to an extent.
Our smartphones have brought a certain level of sweetness to our lives thereby making things easy and accessible, currently, we can do anything with our devices "literally anything" from anywhere we are, the only thing that can look like a hindrance is your "network connection" if your connection is strong then you are good to go but if it isn't then "you are on your own".
The different applications in our devices are all that contribute to the sweetness of our smartphones though some aren't necessary. Whenever I hold other people's phones and see the different apps they have, I would be like "Wow" because the apps on my device aren't much that's why I'm always surprised at the applications others have.
Let's talk about the apps on my phone that aren't useful:
All the applications I installed on my device are useful to me but then certain apps came with the device that I haven't opened before, thank God for this week's topic, I get to check out some of those apps.
These apps right here, I haven't been able to pay close attention to them to know their function, I think I'm gonna make it a priority to get to know some of the applications on my device, especially the ones that are uninstallable. The only app that is very useful to me up there is the "Samsung Note" Apart from that, none.
Another useless app would be "HITV" A few months back, Netflix decided to increase its subscription fee, and as a girl who is still growing and doesn't want to be spending money unnecessarily, I decided to look for something that would take the place of Netflix in my life, that was how this app came into my life.
My colleague at the office is a Korean movie freak and she doesn't do Netflix, so I asked her to show me the way "the way no clear" when she introduced me to this "HITV" immediately I installed the app and went further into uninstalling my Netflix because I thought it could be easily replaced, after the whole process of setting up this app and was finally left with the mindset of watching movies unlimitedly "the unforeseen stepped in".
After a few weeks, I realized the app wasn't giving me the kind of movies Netflix was giving me, and then all of a sudden it stopped logging me in, at first I thought it was my internet connection but then it wasn't, I tried it severally, it was giving me the same thing, so I had to let it be, maybe Netflix was angry at me for giving up on them "maybe" after my whole experience with "HITV" I haven't tried it again, the App is just there occupying the space I don't even have in my device.
