I see It as a very funny but stupid thing when there is a crime, most especially a scamming crime.
I don't know maybe it's because of who I am, or how I was brought up, or my perspective of the way I read things...
Why do I see it as a funny but stupid thing? First of all, how will you see you fellow human, and say that this one is a perfect person to cheat, for a selfish reason, just so you can have the gain, and even at the end of the day, there is literally no specific or special gain pl, which might later end in regrets.
It's funny but stupid because So many of these people have the guts to scam or steal from people close to them or even people they don't know for selfish reasons, knowing that there is a repercussion.
As we all know, there is always a reward for every action that we take, good or bad, that doesn't concern nature, that doesn't concern KARMA, so we've got to do what we've got to do at the right time.
I was a witness to be crime scene, a money scam crime, that later ended up shamefully for the person that did the crime.
Sometimes last year, a person I know used to behave weird sometimes, he is a very fine, intelligent, soft skin, quiet, funny young guy around his early 20s
He was well known due to his behaviour, (you know people will know you when you are silent and when you make noise too much like me) he was well known and trusted by everyone around around him, until he started scamming all his friends, including the neighbor and also his family.
He even dropped out of school when he was almost done, well to some extent, I won't say it was ordinary, or obsession, I can't say he was obsessed with money, because he couldn't work to earn money, but he just derived joy from making money by scamming people, and making it obvious that he is the scammer, at a point, I thought he had no regard for human again...
The part where he scammed his neighbours, (according to what I heard) was that he told the woman that let then do a little business together, and then because this woman knows him, or should I say thought that she knew him, she fell for his trap and agreed, so she brought an amount of 30 thousand naira to him for the business, and j was like wow! (No be JuJu be that?)
And after she gave him the money, the time reached even she was to collect her money, then the story began. She went to meet his junior brother who he already begged to borrow him a sum of thirty thousand naira, and after all grumbling, the brother sent the money to an account that was given to him by his brother which was not his brother's normal account number.
Not long after he sent the money, the neighbor entered their house and asked for the thirty thousand naira they was supposed to be sent to her account, why is it not sent yet, and the brother was like which money was she talking about, because he didn't understand what was going on.
Not until the neighbor explained that she and the boy's brother had an agreement, and that he said that the younger brother was going to send the money to her, and then the brother was like *he just sent me an account number not quite long in which I sent him thirty thousand naira already, but now, both him and the money are no where to be found.
The woman could not believe what she heard, he used 1 stone to kill birds, he was so smart to convince his brother and the neighbor, and then took both of them money, he scammed the both and they regretted ever sending him any money at all...
Then, he walked with people he wasn't supposed to walk with, people that on a norms he is out of their league, and then lost most of his reasonable friends, Now he has just few friends who stood by him still after all his rubbish acts, they are very countable.
Now he is occupied with one or two things that is fetching him small money, which has made his obsessions over money reduce, now he has to work to feed himself and his family as the eldest son, he is trying to be responsible, which was supposed to be at first.
He is supposed to be serving his country by now, but he is there working as a factory worker, paying for his sins...
I am just happy because he stopped early, and still have time to adjust his life for the better, he still has the chance to convince people of how good he is, and make sure new reasonable friends
The funny part of all of these is that you dare not steal from them, they'd use their last strength to fight against you till you give up, but they don't care how the other person they are scamming feels like, the dept on the person's head, all they want is just to take greedily...
