The idea came from a reel I saw. As a flower girl I always try to have some flowers in our home. The flowers make me feel happy. I have vases that belonged to my mum who gave them to me when I left our family home. For every bouquet I have one, small, high, wide and onepiece vases.
The reel made me decide to copy the simple steps to this so luxuriously looking tulip vase idea. The Christmas lights were gone to the attic already again but I retrieved them to get to work to copy the REEL vase idea.
You need a few tulips. Preferably the small ones. I choose light pink.
Christmas lights on a thin string,
A wide big vase.
And a ribbon with some adhesive tape.
On this picture above you see the start when I gathered the essentials to make it to the end result!
That’s it! I cleaned the vase and filled it with water.
You do just a little bit because tulips tend to grow fast when in a large amount of water.
Then put the tulips over the bottom against the glass of the vase, in random order and not to neat.
If that’s done, take the light string and put the end of the string at the on the edge of the flower vase.
Than put some tape on there to keep it in place when you go round to adjust the light string as good and firm as possible.
Then go round till the end and ty a ribbon at the top. Than it’s finished and although it started at a reel I am very happy with the end result. I looks very nice.
Only use a little water, tulips tend to grow in lenght with a lot of water. This is not Iqbal you want the tulips need to stay below the edge of the vase.
