I'm excited to announce a new DTIYS challenge for this week. This challenge is inspired by my love of cute characters, and I'm hoping you'll join me in creating some amazing art.
The challenge is simple: draw your own interpretation of a blue elf who looks sad! You can use any medium you like, and there is no deadline. Just be sure to tag your work with #dtiys so I can see it.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of your creative takes on this challenge. Let's have some fun.
Here are some tips for participating in the challenge:
Choose a pose for your elf that conveys sadness. Maybe they're sitting on a rock, looking out at a sad landscape. Or maybe they're standing in the rain, with their head down.
Use a lot of blue in your artwork. This will help to create a sense of sadness and melancholy.
Don't be afraid to add some details that will make your elf look even more blue. Most important part though is have fun.
How to enter the challenge:
Draw your own interpretation of a sad blue elf.
Tag your work with #dtiys
Share your work on the dtiys community.
I can't wait to see all of your beautiful art!
Did you like my drawing today? Hope you participate in this drawing challenge too. Thank you for stopping by and have a good one.

I like the way the pointy ears blend into the chin.
Enjoy a wine!
