There is lots of chatter about Hive spam landing on Twitter recently. I have some tips on how to tweet effectively. Watch this short video to learn how to tag people in an image. And I also think everyone should stop tagging @theycallmedan in every tweet. Announcements or important updates are different, but don't tag him in every single random tweet. He's not going to retweet you, it will just be annoying to him.
If you are new and struggling to gain traction on Twitter, considering tagging these Hive accounts instead because they might retweet you: @hivelift, @hiveblogshare, @hivepeople, @hivetrending, @nathanmars7. Get to know people and their likes and dislikes.
For example, I personally dislike all food posts (don't tag me or @hivepeople with your brownie recipe, or food porn image, I will not pay attention, because I don't like any type of food posts. I like a lot of different topics, but food is not one of them that interests me.)
I'm going to do a lot of short videos that give Twitter tips and will tag these posts as "hivespam". I am not bothered by the energy of the hive community on Twitter. I am bothered by the lack of skills, and ignorance about how Twitter works. Until i see a lot of improvements (just in the tweet structure), I'll continue to do these tips videos. No one is perfect, and I love GIFS, and I will never stop using them on twitter. If GIFS annoy you, you should probably just unfollow me. We can make adjustments sure, but at the end of the day, it's just opinions. I love GIFS and nothing will ever change that.

Excellent suggestions, @hivepeople. And I'd like to add that yes, if people tag @hiveblogshare there's a very good chance I'll RT the post, because that's essentially why I created the account back in March - to be an RT account for all manners of Hive content (following the footsteps of WordPress blog Twitter accounts Sunday Blog Share and Monday Blogs). Which also gives me a good excuse to drop the post I wrote a couple months back (which also has some Twitter tips - shameless, ain't I? 😂 ) -
