Hive has the fun aspect, but I guess it's not as most users experience on Web 2 apps, so there is more we can do if we can win quite a good number of people. I also think there is more we can sell to attract potential users than just rewards. Lots of people spend time on most Web 2 apps not because they are incentivised but because they love the fun, the entertaining and how easier it is for them to navigate around. So rewards shouldn't the preached out there as the only thing Hive offers.
Honestly Twitter and Facebook aren't any easier than Hive. And we have a lot more to offer - even without adding the financial part :) Do you know even one long term web2 user who hasn't lost at least one account that they value highly?
