Splinterlands is a trading card game on the Hive Blockchain. I have been playing this game for many years as it continues to add new dynamics to its ever popular selection of different game play
You can even own and work land if the matches are not your cup of tea so to speak.
Gwen's Glint Shop
Last month, I shared how to earn glint which you can us to purchase additional cards for your Splinterlands card deck. By having more selection of cards at your use, you can surprise your opponent with cards they were not expecting and win more matches.
I had been saving up my Glint so that I could get another title for my land however they are now sold out. I saved my Glint to use for purchases.
I wanted to get higher level cards since the reward cards I had received for advancing were common and rare reward cards. Based on this, the choices left are regular rarity draws (Epic or Legendary) or Gold Foil rarity draws (Epic or Legendary. I had purchased the Legendary draws prior so decided on the Epic draws this time.
Since I do not have any Epic Rebellion reward card (Gold or regular) and also looking at the price difference between the two, I choose to go with the Epic regular rarity draws.
Epic cards are 7,500 Glint for the Epic. I choose to get the limit of Legendary draws I could which was 10 draws. If I wanted more they would be at a higher cost until the season reset.
There are 7 Epic Rebellion reward cards available. One of each of the six
elements (fire, water, earth, life, death and dragon) and a neutral card. There is also a small chance of drawing a gold foil card. I used potions to increase this chance.
I am hoping this provides enough good cards to help with my matches. Having some Epic Rebellion reward cards should help my chances.
Since I do not have any rebellion summoners above level 1, it would be nice to get individual Epic reward cards without many duplicates. I choose to purchase 25 Epic draws hoping this provides more of the various cards.
When I opened the Epic draws, I count myself very lucky. Neutral was my luckiest element Epic reward card draw. I got all of the Epic reward cards with one of them Gold - Halfling Refugee.

I was surprised that the estimated value is $50 for this Epic Rebellion reward card .
This card will be very useful in playing in the rule set Little League and as a filler card when I only need 1 more mana point card. With 3 Melee, 6 health and a speed of 3, it should last a little while. I should be able to add it to lots of line ups as well since it only has a mana cost of 1.
