Happy Chooseday π A week ago I was mourning the loss of my cat Nian. How fast time flew by! The vet visit last night went well, and five of the kitties got their anti-rabies shots. Exceptions were Bruno (she's pregnant and possibly due within the month), Bon whose wobbliness has come back (he needs to be brought to a clinic soon) and Dos who's having loose bowel movements after feeding. The doc wrote down some medicines to buy for Bon and Dos. I made time to go down and walk the two blocks to the neighborhood pharmacy earlier so I could start giving the kitties their meds. πβ€οΈπ‘ No matter, Bon still needs to get to a clinic soonest. I will need to plan this out including the means of transport to get to a cat clinic. I'm praying I can make this happen as soon as possible.
Inspiration for the title today came from another divider on my journal. It talks about making quality choices to make our planet a better one. I suppose it's true. We should be mindful of our purchases and go for quality local products more. In my case, I only try to buy what I need (mostly to replace what's broken or rundown). Mindless consumption is way to kill the planet faster.
Some tips on making quality choices are included. Shop with a purpose is what I try to do most of the time. This enables me to schedule my purchases according to priorities. I would also prefer to shop local. We need to support smaller businesses that make quality products.
Speaking of reusables, I have two of these round bases for scratch box for the kitties. The cardboards were too thin that they break easily, not to mention they're not cheap. Instead, my assistant Jenny suggested we buy a pillow for them so the kitties can use them as sleeping areas. Looks like it was a good idea. I now catch them sleeping there in groups of two or three. π

I'd say it's best to face challenges head on. It is true that we sometimes fail to move forward due to fear. Once we have made the first move, we realize that there was nothing to fear. I'm working on my mobility challenge. I plan to try wellness therapy sessions. I suppose I should just go ahead and try. That way I can work on bringing Bon to the cat clinic soonest. There are lots more I need to do on my own. I will slowly work on them. One step at a time. One day at a time, πβ€οΈπ‘
Last night was cool as it drizzled in the evening. I wish we get that cool weather daily. It's once again a little warmer today. Ugh! Well, summer is right around the corner, so wish me luck! π
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Today I requested payout from LL. Guess I'll wait a few days to check if I've received the pay. It's not a lot but it's added cash I could use for extra expenses around the household.
