I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. In yesterday's post I mentioned that I had just crossed the threshold of 8,700 Hive Power this past week, which is excellent, and because HPUD is on Friday (in my time zone), in which I'll be powering up somewhere around 45 HIVE, I have a very strong likelihood of reaching 8,800 HP at some point near the end of the week. I love HPUD weeks for how much it boosts my HP from one week to the next.
So my third batch of DRIP unstaked a bit later than expected (today, just after noon), which was a bit of a surprise. From the 662.241 DRIP that unstaked, I sold it for 198.672 SWAP.HIVE, which I used to acquire another 97 PWR, which I added, along with the most of the rest of the SWAP.HIVE (I left myself a little for token management), into the SWAP.HIVE:PWR diesel pool, which notably increased my liquidity, and along with it, my daily SWAP.HIVE income.
With this reinvestment today, I'll now receive 0.334 SWAP.HIVE daily from just the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool, and a little over 0.363 SWAP.HIVE daily in total (not counting weekly payouts, as with BBH), which is pretty sweet indeed. I'm going to continue growing that over time, of course. A daily income of 0.363+ SWAP.HIVE gives me a good amount for diesel/liquidity pools, and to acquire more solid income tokens, so this is a fantastic start. Now I have to decide if I want to use the next and last batch of unstaking DRIP to reinvest more into the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool, or to use it to buy more BBHO, BBHM, and DUO (which has been my plan up until this point).
Another boost of this level to my SWAP.HIVE:PWR liquidity would be exceedingly welcome, but I'm also really wanting to diversify a bit more, and to support more projects, like Bradley's BBH/BBHO/BBHM Project and community, as well as the DUO Project. I'll let it percolate this week, as I wait for the last round of DRIP to unstake, to see where my inspiration calls me.
My assets in diesel/liquidity pools now total over $500 in fiat value, which is the highest it's ever been, so my new focus on investing strongly in excellent diesel/liquidity pools has been very successful up to this point, and I have no intention of stopping, as the benefits keep growing. We'll see what I end up deciding to do with the last batch of DRIP next week!
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after I finished up my Hive tasks, a bit later than usual, just a little before 3PM. I put my attention first on photography, and while I did get a few good shots, the sun decided to hide behind clouds for a while, so I refocused on fixing the last section of the network that was still without internet connection, which thankfully was as simple as replacing a fried switch. With that done more quickly than expected, I went to collect three five-gallon buckets with lids from Tutu's, and I made an attempt at sifting more soil in my old nursery behind the Landing, with the little bit of time that I had free. Unfortunately, because of all the rain, the soil was too wet to sift effectively, so I had to put it off until after we get a few days in a row with no rain, to dry it up a bit. After trying to sift soil, I took a shower, and headed up to the Flow House for a short token-management break, and then I finally got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food. With that done, I stopped by the Landing to pick up my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee, and then I returned to the Flow House, to jump into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done earlier than usual, by around 10PM, and after some token management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just a little after 10:30PM. I woke up just before 7:30AM, after having slept reasonably well, doing more token management, writing and publishing My 139th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 3/3 Weekly Goals Achieved, 8,700 HP Surpassed, and Deeper Investments Happening!, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee, and to milk Daisy with Jo. As soon as milking was done, I returned to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
