I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. A good deal has been happening in the We Are Alive Tribe lately, as most of you have likely noticed. We're moving along at a nice pace getting various parts of the community up and running again, as well as implementing cool new features. Today I have some more important information and updates to share with the community, namely on our aliveand.social outpost, for which the domain name expired today, and on the ALIVE:ALIVEM diesel/liquidity pool, where the rewards end in 24 days.
Given the present circumstances, it's looking like we're going to set up a new domain and domain name for our outpost, probably wearealivetribe.com, that Bjorn (@borniet) will set up and host. At the moment, the community outpost is down, so it's a very high priority for us to get it back up quickly. I don't have an ETA yet, other than to say as soon as we're able.
The other news that I want to share with the community is on the present and future state of the ALIVE:ALIVEM pool. With the smart contract for the daily liquidity rewards ending quite soon, we have to decide which assets to use to renew them, since it's looking unlikely that we'll be able to do so in BEE again (at least for now), since that has been reallocated to generate a sizeable, and much needed weekly HIVE income.
It makes sense to have ALIVE be at least one of the assets to re-add as rewards, along with other useful, to-be-determined tokens. I'll keep y'all posted, and I'll give specifics, as soon as they're clear.
The We Are Alive Tribe is being reborn, as we restart or recreate various components of the community and it's functioning, one piece at a time. At the moment we have three important items on our docket, to get the daily dividend payouts for held and staked ALIVE rolling again, to get our community outpost back up, and to renew the rewards for the ALIVE:ALIVEM pool when they expire in a little under a month. By this time next month, we should have all of those completed.
Yesterday, Wednesday, after I wrapped up my Hive tasks, I prepared for my session with Riana, which started at 1:30PM, and ending about 5:30PM, so a session of usual duraration. Once Riana left (happy and grateful), I stopped by the Landing, to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and I headed straight back to the Flow House, to jump into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I finished everything by around 10:30PM, and after some asset management, writing and publishing My Entry for Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 360 - Red Ti Shadows, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed at 12AM. I woke up just after 6AM, having slept very well, doing more asset management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee, and a short time later, to go milk Daisy with Jo. As soon as milking was done, I headed back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:45PM, so a wonderful time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
