It happened a little bit before I arrived, so I have no direct experience with it, but I've read lots of posts, and talked with a lot of people who were there to see it happen, and it was pretty wild! But that hostile takeover of Steemit (which was the primary frontend for the Steem blockchain) was the catalyst necessary to cause the fork into this incredible Blockchain Ecosystem that Hive has become. Hive was born battle-tested. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
