Some pundits claim that there is more honey sold in markets than in produced.
This leads pundits to stipulate that much of the honey sold in markets is fake honey.
It is likely that the cheap stuff is not real honey.
One can not go by price alone. People who sell fake honey are more than happy to sell fake honey at higher prices.
So, I guess the best approach is to buy local raw honey.
Of course the people who sell fake honey are more than happy to slap the "local raw honey" label on their fake honey.
I guess the only real solution is to become a beekeeper and to make your own honey.

That is probably some good advice. I had better stick with the local honey. When I go to get it, I can see the bee colony boxes in the fields behind the building. This is out in the country away from the city so hopefully it’s not fake honey.
