What could be the right answer?

Is being knowledgeable a magnet to knowing more or is there a short code to know more.

Maybe you will understand better after reading this post.

A normal day

It is always normal at the beginning but the stress that awaits you will tell you another thing while your brain will be busy trying to reset later at night.

I woke up early and started preparing for work but that does not stop the fact that I got to work a few minutes behind schedule because I just ironed my clothes this morning.

Work started as there is no time to check time but I got stuck while working as tally, the ERP that we're using at work is not functioning very well.

It's a software so definitely the problem is about set up and commands which I knew nothing about.

The solution

Before attempting to solve it, I asked my colleagues to know if my own sign on is the one having an issue or the problem is a general one.

Lo and behold, it was a general issue. You know what they say about corruption.

I guess that's true. Even though I know that I am not the reason behind the problem, I am relaxed knowing I'm not the only one having the issue.

Finally, I went to our Financial Accountant who is the admin to lodge the complaint.

Few minutes later, I was called by our FA to discuss the issue with the technical officer and get the solution so that I can fix it.

Like, a few minutes before now, I knew nothing about the setup but here I am learning more about the software that I've been using for almost a year.

The second part

That's not the end now.

There is another part to it.

So I listened to the guy and watched him do some things while I practiced and I was asked to continue and repeat the process for all the vouchers which I did.

It worked for 2023 transactions but December 2022 transactions are hanging 😂😂😂

If not for that, maybe I would not have known the purpose of another app that has been on my system since I started using it.

It's called Anydesk

I was surprised at the features and what could be done using this app but it has been on my system since.

Well, long story short. I was able to learn.

Scenarios like this have happened to me before where I will be approached with problems that I knew nothing about but due to open mindness, I would be able to learn while doing it and in most cases proffer solutions.

Could it say that being knowledgeable in similar areas is a magnet to knowing more?

This is not a walk but my experience on a good Wednesday. 😂😂😂
