Impromptu Walk On A Wednesday

I didn't actually get out of the house with the intention of going to take photos but once I was in this beautiful park, the thought occurred to me. Instead of heading straight home, it encouraged me to take the longer route via the lake to get photos of the birds enjoying the autumn sun.

It wasn't long till a free running dog ruined the perfect serenity. The photo would have been amazing actually, the visual of a dog running after a few dozen white birds taking off from the lake, but my camera wasn't ready for that. It was in my pocket. I did, however, photograph it with my mind's eye and the visual will remain with me as long as it can.

It's been raining regularly in the past week, probably making up a bit for the lack of rain in the last couple of months, but we still have some pleasant weather like we did today offering a respite from the dark clouds. Talking of which, it's Vitamin D supplement season. I've already started taking mine. One's gotta be ready for the cold and dark days ahead.

I wish you a good rest of the week filled with peace and fulfilment. My condolences to those around the world living in places that aren't as peaceful and may have even lost a loved one or come to bodily harm or lost property. I hope for peace on earth.
