Hello dear Hivers and walkers, today I set off with no other preconceived idea than to enjoy the sunshine and if possible, to spot any traces of the coming spring. Well, that was the basic idea, and as you can imagine, it has of course evolved. Well, at least to some extent !
At the beginning of the afternoon, I leave in this district of the north of the city, camera around, to practice a little more in order to gradually take better images... or in any case, those which I have in head :)
A few streets away, there is a whole group of brick buildings that are typical of the buildings in the area bordering Paris. However, we are still in the 18th arrondissement, but these buildings are commonly referred to as 'immeubles de la Ville de Paris' and correspond to a very specific period.
I'm gradually becoming aware of what interests me most and what I pay most attention to. Often, it is the play of shadows, graphic frames, things in height, geometrical for some and completely natural on the other hand.
I love these facades and their proud and complete proportions. As I take in this series, I think to myself that I have hardly been in any of the flats in these buildings, neither in a friend's nor in anyone else's home, and I have to say that this arouses my curiosity... even if it may never happen !
I also like the traces of structures that are no longer there, and like this building in needlework, seem to be hanging on by a thread. There too, the question of the interior compared to what we see from the outside arises, because the room at the end must indeed be, let's say... rather narrow ^^
Originally set out to follow the sun, I realise that from the start this part was validated, however, as far as spring is concerned, and due to the lack of nature in the area, I realise that I have left this out a little. Or rather, I haven't found any real traces of it so far...
No, instead I wanted to take a representation of this temporary extension with this scaffolded terrace.
Along the terrace of a Parisian bar, a chair with a frame that takes me back to my architectural motifs...
In search of more natural elements, I naturally head for the Léon Serpollet square, even if I would prefer to be in the countryside, in the forest, and that this one hasn't seen a modern human for a century ! For everything is put to the hand of man, with its share of successes of course, but also of defeats and destruction...
I like the tree tops as if licked by the light, the last rays of sunshine that will arrive for them and during this day... And so I too set out again, peacefully.
The only plant that attracts me and surprises me, whereas I was beginning not to pay much attention anymore, is this passion flower, one of my favorite plants. I've got my trace of spring ^^ ! In full light and full momentum, here is this passionflower which, without having stopped during the winter, is getting ready for the next growth race !
So I'm going back home even more satisfied, especially with the second of these images that I find beautiful and quite successful, what do you think ? Of course, there are still a lot of things to do to improve it, I'm not talking about retouching, but in terms of taking pictures !
A last brick building seems to rise in the orange light of the end of the day... I stay a few moments to enjoy this spectacle. But, in the shade, one quickly gets cold, even if what one is looking at is in the sun !
Small detail of our meal this evening, multicolored chard !
We are graced with a magnificent gradation of sky, after a sumptuous sunset, what more could we ask for ?
I hope you enjoyed this modest but colorful visit ! Thanks for your time and I wish you all well :)
Take good care and see you soon,
<3

<3

Sleep well.
The city you visit is very beautiful and clean, the architecture of the buildings is also very good which makes us never get tired of visiting there
Indeed ! I appreciate it a lot, but the more the time is going, the more I need some wild forest as well hehe ^^ ! Thanks you for your visit :)
you're welcome😊
The weather is very good, picture taken are also beautiful, the buildings look clear. Like post. Thank you.
That's for sure... we're double enjoying it after a complete month of cold rains haha !
I'm glad you enjoy the tour ! Thanks you too 😇
The pictures look like a movie set :) Maybe because I'm not used to seeing buildings with brick wall facades dominating the overall look. The facade looks clean and simple and you did great on the timing of your photowalk, the sunshine is a little warmer and the shadows on the facade are interesting.
Also, I like how you frame the view of the building through the branches of the trees.
On the final shot, you did a clever job on the angle of the shot. It almost looks like an illusion, you position your view so that the metal latticework appears straight but the shadows show differently, it's curling. Very interesting technique.
Thanks a lot for sharing, I enjoyed your walk :)
I had the same impression at the moment I watched the pictures at home :)
That one is clearly among my favorites too.
You're quite an observer ^^ what do you work in, if you don't mind my asking?
