Today, I have thought of reporting at school in our DRRM Office even if it's not necessary. I only feel like going out and since some of the members are going there, I thought of joining the flock for the entire day. There's nothing to do at home anyway, and all I'm doing was to lie in bed and hold my phone doing nothing meaningful. So, I woke up early, prepared myself and head to school. Little did I know, unexpectedly, this day could be so much productive that what I have intended it to be.
When I was walking at the hallway, I meet the Operations Commander of DRRMO Bacolod City. He handed out a piece of paper to me and when I check, it's a Memorandum Order from the city. Lol. That explains why he was so happy to see me. 😆
He was in a hurry but he managed to give me the instructions before he left. There's going to be a National Tchoukball Event that will be held in our campus the next day and my team is requested to oversee another sport event for three days. That being said, he asked to me request for the equipments and medical supplies needed at their office.
The City DRRM Office is located at the back of our campus, but there's no shortcut from there, we can only turn at the next street and walk straight for at least 10 minutes. Along the way, we passed by the office of DPWH and they instantly have a Quiz Show of it's actual meaning. At the end, no one got it and laugh it off. We got too many priorities running in our minds to think of that. If you're interested, please look it up on Google instead. 😆
Gladly, the Commander already had left them instructions on how to deal with us, the process had been smooth and faster on fetching the supplies. I was the one who was given with the Memo, so the supplies was signed under my name and I'm supposed to be the one who should return them after the events.
After that, we walked back to the campus and dropped the supplies inside our office. The half of the team have to canvass for the Bookbinding prices at different printing shops for their Research Paper. The other half that's left with me decided to have a walk around downtown to SM City Bacolod and shop at thrift stores along the way.
But first, it's coffee!
We took another 3-minute walk to the nearest Don Macchiato branch, and there, for the first time, I've noticed that tree blooming with violet flowers beside the Barangay Health Center inside the City High School's premises. One of my companions suggested that it looked like a Wisteria flowers of Japan and I remembered some Demon Slayer reference from what he said. Unfortunately, it's not Wisteria and no one from us knew what it was exactly. It's radiating vibes of the spring season with all its blooming vibrant violet flowers, though.
Beautiful. 💜💜💜
Upon ordering, they didn't have Caramel, Choco and Matcha flavors anymore. My kiddos here was disappointed and out of a whim, they have decided to catch a ride going to SM City Bacolod and check the branch over there.
And yes, we truly have gone here just to buy this 39 pesos coffee that we craved for. But actually, all these kids honestly wanted wasn't just the coffee, they wanted the fun walks and talks with the group because they didn't want to go home yet. I was going with the flow of whatever they desire since I don't have anything after this but to write a blog. Also, I'm alone at my room, it feels nice to have company for a while before slumbering into solitude once again.
Then, we crossed the street to go to the North Wing. They still wanted to stay for the afternoon and there are some spaces there to sit down. Some of us played for a while at Quantum and the rest played Mobile Games until their parents started calling them to go home, and, one by one they disappear. I have stayed to have long conversations with @binibining.ana before going home too. Evening came, they all went home, but we haven't visited any thrift stores, just the coffee at Don Macchiato.
And, that was the end of my #WednesdayWalk entry for Sir @tattoodjay's initiative.
'Twas amazing 'cause I have accumulated 11,717 steps just for this day. This has more steps actually than my Sunday morning jogs. Anyway, that's all I've gotta share. Thanks for reading!
