Believe it or not, this is part of the city of Sevastopol. Most likely you will not be shown it in tourist booklets. Most tourists are interested in bright places and rarely go deep.
Today is Thursday, but it so happened that yesterday I did not walk. The second day it is snowing with rain, slush underfoot and I can’t show you anything new from the street. But I have archives...fortunately. And today we will start a rather long walk around Sevastopol. The purpose of our trip will be to get to the ruins of Chersonese and admire them. But let's go there on foot. At least most of the way.
Our walk began in the morning after the night that I showed yesterday. This is the courtyard where the balcony of our rented apartment opens and which was shown yesterday in the last photo.
Chersonese is located on the other side of our hill. We have to climb up, then to go down and go to this place.
Of course, we will go through small streets and courtyards. Yards attract me the most. Each of them has its own face and together they create a unique flavor of this city.
If I am not mistaken, this is a mimosa, but I am far from the botany of the southern regions. In my Leningrad, such trees do not grow.
And we keep going up.
It's more noticeable now, isn't it. You can look down and see the bay and more. And yet you still have room to climb.
We can say that we have risen. At the top level, we were surprised to find something that looks very much like a small market. Coins, badges, stamps and souvenirs were sold here. Souvenirs were the least here, but they could not do without them. Tourists don't come here much. A steep climb up the stairs, and the place is hidden among the greenery. But numismatists and other amateurs here know each other and are willing to communicate. Party for their own.
Now it's time for us to take a break to move on. See you soon friends

Refreshing views with ancient origin, a blend of nature with civilization.
I don’t even know what exactly is more there... :)
