Our health is significant to survive the game of life. No matter how successful we are, if we do not take care of our well-being, we will lose the game. Thus, we live our lives balanced, be it in diet and work and life.
How do you maintain your life to attain the healthy you? Do you still ask this yourself? Are you too busy that you do not have time for yourself?
Let us take a deep breath, pause from our occupied day, and go outdoors to express gratitude to ourselves.
Wear your workout outfit, put on your shoes, and brace yourself to start walking, one step at a time.
It is time to walk for your health!
I, together with my two sisters, went for a walk for our physical and mental health. We are students who are busy doing school stuff on weekdays and sometimes on weekends, so we took our no-class day (Saturday) as an opportunity to walk for our health.
We have not done this since the start of the pandemic, so I was delighted that we spent time outdoors.
Do not forget your face mask to protect yourselves and others. The virus is still out there!
This was our morning walk record via the Strava app. We started walking at 7:29 AM and arrived home at 8:54 AM, which means we had a 1h and 25m walking duration. You can see in the picture our route, from P-4 Sumpong, Malaybalay City (our home) to Bukidnon Provincial Capitol Grounds and vice versa. We walked on several streets, but I cannot identify them since it was my first time walking on those streets. I will take note of them the next time.

Finally arrived at the Capitol Grounds. It is the best place to walk, jog, and do other physical activities.
We walked around the place, and a few people were exercising like us.
We walked on the brick pavement.
The place is surrounded by trees.
Do not forget to hydrate. Water is a must to replenish fluid loss through sweating. The weather was not hot but I still sweat. It was the right idea to bring my water bottle with me.
After a couple of rounds, we went home walking, still.
I saw some balloon toys being sold on the sidewalk. They looked cute, and it made me want to buy one, but I remembered I do not have money.
I saw a coconut tree and captured it because why not coconut?
I was astounded by this wall because it is almost covered by green plants.
And I saw a pink flower. They looked so pretty.
Woah! That was an energizing walk with my sisters. I was proud of myself for getting up on my feet and keeping on walking, regardless of the tiredness I felt during the whole time.
I felt ecstatic with our walking activity because I got to take a break from my routine and see the outside world.
It is always nature that makes me feel at peace amidst pressure.
In addition, it also helped my physical and mental health.

Yes, it was a good walk, especially with my sisters' company. Our place here in Malaybalay City is surrounded by nature, that's why there are a lot of trees and green views. Also, The balloon toys looked something different because they can stand. Haha. I'm new to the Wednesday Walk community and it's nice to different people walking. 😁
