Renewal of the Business permit-Busy days for me

in Wednesday Walk2 days ago (edited)

Greetings Hivers! It's been two weeks since my last Hive post. I've been preoccupied with work and the yearly renewal process for the business permit of the computer shop where I'm employed.
I'd like to share my experience of going from one place to another each day to get my business permit.

Our Municipal Health Center

To acquire a Barangay Health Worker (BHW) clearance, I first need to visit our Municipal health center. Conveniently, it's located just across the street from my son's school. Therefore, I typically get the BHW clearance after I drop him off at school.

The BHW Clearance

I obtained the BHW clearance, but I couldn't proceed to the next steps because I am processing two business permits for my employers. They have separate businesses. I had to give the BHW clearance to my male boss's mom so their BHW could sign it before I could move on to the other requirements.

I was busy completing BIR forms for taxpayers and didn't have time to give my male boss's mom her BHW clearance. She works at the Municipal Hall across the street from my office.

The customers of the computer shop waited for me to come back.
I need to close the computer shop when I have to leave to get the requirements to renew our business permit since I also have to work there.
At the Del Carmen Weste Barangay Hall

I first needed to visit the Barangay Hall of Del Carmen Weste to obtain a business permit to acquire the requirements. Due to its relocation, I had to take a tricycle to reach the Barangay Hall, now farther from the Public Market. Afterward, I could proceed to the Municipal Treasurer's office for the assessment.
I went to the Municipal treasurer’s office to get the assessment right after securing my boss's Barangay business permit and the Cedula.

After the assessment, I went to the Fire Station to obtain the Fire Safety Inspection Certificate and pay the necessary fees. The process was online, so I had to provide an email address and mobile number. Fortunately, the Fire Station staff assisted me with the online process. Payment was made through GCash or Paymaya, and I used my GCash account to pay the 500 peso fee plus a 20 peso charge for each business. I finished at the Fire Station around 4:30 PM. Although I had planned to go to the Health Center for the Sanitary Permit, I decided to return to my workplace to clean up before going home around 5 PM.

Getting the Sanitary permit

Friday I proceeded to the health center hoping to finish the requirements by that day but sadly the doctor was out of the country and he will be back by Tuesday.

Then I had to go to Municipal Hall since the Health Center said that the doctor would be there for the one-stop shop so waited there for the doctor to arrive.
I had to go back when the doctor was available. I was too busy on Tuesday due to market day, but I was able to get my sanitary permit signed by Wednesday.

At the Treasurer's office waiting for my number to be called
I paid for the permit around Friday, after receiving the list of requirements. I still need to return all the documents to them after our lease contract is notarized.

Ending thoughts
The processing time is slow; it takes so long to complete each requirement, especially when the responsible people are unavailable in their offices. I've been doing this job for over a decade and it's still the same.

Thank you for taking the time to read my article. I sincerely hope that you found it engaging and insightful. May divine blessings be bestowed upon us all as we continue our journeys.

Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day

How I wish their offices are in one area so I don't need to roam around the place just to get it done

that would make it so much easier

But despite the walking from one place to another place I enjoyed taking pictures of the sorroundings. Just that sometimes the weather is not good.
