Visit the flower market on the last day of the lunar year.

Hello everyone, today I happened to know that the Tet flower market was open and came to visit.
In the last weeks of the year near the traditional New Year, flower growers organize temporary markets to sell and exhibit flowers and ornamental plants. ( photo )

As my first year to visit this market, I have some photos I want to share with everyone about the flowers sold here. Because Hanoi these days is quite cloudy, the color of the photo will not be as fresh as the sunny days (photo)

The market is located at the end of To Huu Street, Ha Dong District, Hanoi City. Every year close to the traditional New Year, the market is opened for people to buy flowers and ornamental plants for Tet.
Flowers here are brought from many places in the north in Dalat and also from gardeners around Hanoi.

In order for the flowers to bloom right on the occasion of Tet, the caregivers had to spend a lot of time and effort to take care.
Most of the main flowers sold here are orchids, which are bought by wealthy people or families with a decent income. (photo)

Orchid flowers from blooming to dying will take about 3 to 4 weeks, so they will be comfortable to display on New Year's Day.
Prices range from a few hundred to several million dong per flower pot. (photo)

This flower market has just been opened and there are many more stalls that will continue to open and sell until the 29th of the lunar new year.
It's not close to Tet yet, so only a few people come to see it. (photo)

Most people will buy in the days near Tet because buying early will be difficult to take care of and not keep the beauty until the new year comes.
In addition to flowers, we can still see ornamental plants that are often bought during Tet. (photo)

According to the ancient concept, flowers and ornamental plants decorated in the house during the traditional New Year holidays will symbolize fullness, reunion during the New Year holidays, and a full life for the following years. (photo)

For Eastern people, feng shui is quite important, so arranging beautiful and colorful things will make everything favorable in life and many good fortunes will come.

Happy end to the lunar year and happy new year too you!
