Hi there Everyone around the world, I hope that you're all well and enjoying your Wednesday Walk as much as I do and if it were'nt for the efforts of the wonderful @tattoodjay creating this community for us to virtually walk with each other, then where would we be eh, so thank you @tattoodjay for your support!
So between January and March this year when my dear old departed Dad was in hospital in New South Wales, there was a few times that I had to drive back-and-forth between New South Wales and Melbourne which is a 10 hour drive and there were a couple of times that Indy and I were too tired to drive all the way and driving down the princess highway, many many times over the years I’ve always passed this gorgeous looking BellBird Creek Hotel Motel but never had the chance to stop.
So this is part #2 of my amazing wonderful wild Wednesday Walk at the BellBird Creek Hotel Motel, As Gary the gracious owner took me on a tour of the absolutely gorgeous camping grounds surrounding the hotel motel filled with lush green rainforest walks and amazing nature of all kinds
As we walked towards the rainforest, you’ll see from the video the elusive Lyre Bird that woke me up and then run away as I tried to photograph it.
Lucky I have previous footage of the elusive Lyre Bird from another Wednesday Walk here https://peakd.com/hive-106444/@chocolatescorpi/yrvutgtm
So as wonderful and incredible and unique and unusual as the walk-through the Bell Bird Hotel Motel was here https://peakd.com/hive-155530/@chocolatescorpi/the-absolutey-gorgeous-bellbird-creek-hotel-motel-wednesday-walk-and-camping-part-1 here is the other side of that just as unique gorgeous wild and wonderful too

ChocolateScorpi is so incredibly grateful to the the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of this beautiful land that I call home and I thank you for caring for it for so long.
I pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging and offer our hand to all first nations hands in order to help heal all of our relationships to the earth on this truly magical and extraordinary island nation that we now all call home.

I don't know if you were chasing the bird, or she was mocking you and trying to lure you into the wilderness and some weird trap... 😂
You were like...
And the bird was...
😂
I miss walking in the (green) forest... In this part of Spain where I live, everything is red and burned by the sun... Only pine trees can survive, but it looks much better when you have different types of trees, grass, bushes, etc...
Thanks for sharing!
Haaa lol...yes! BOTH!
Yeah as much as I love any kind of nature, I do prefer the softer, more delicate rainforest than dryer harsher bush like we have most of in Australia.
What part of Spain are you in again?
I do remember that it was a very dry and barren type of bush/forest when I was in Corfu in Greece 2+ (for only 2 weeks ) decades ago and that's the impression that I get of the Medditereanean- gorgeous beaches, but quite dry and barren land...
Oh speaking ofwhich, have you seen a series called Welcome to Eden, set in various areas around Spain- stunning and very unique landscapes up around to the west of Barcelona, I just can't think exactly where at the moment though...but anyway, intriguing series and truly stunning landscapes that they use...
Well, you know what I mean by dry... You are living in Australia... hahahaha... I live on the Mediterranean Sea, between Valencia and Alicante... What you describe in Greece, that's how it looks here too... :)
I didn't! But, I saw a bunch of other documentaries... Spain has many different landscapes, sea, mountain, dry, wet, desert, forest... :)
Btw. Don't go to sleep... We will have another #HHHLive show in 20 min... 😃 😂
Haaa yeah that's what I was thinking!
the #HHHLive that is...🤣
I can't WAIT to finally get to Spain.
I was supposed to go and stay with my friend in Alicante. Torrevieja.
My friend of nearly 20 years who has been living in my spare bedroom for the past 6 months, until he did a runner a couple of weeks ago leaving me with a filthy bedroom and bathroom to clean up, plus owing me 3 weeks of rent and 3 months of bills and taking things, including the car that he gave me 4 years ago as he was living in Spain and didn't want it anymore and as I have been looking after it and paying all of the bills on it for the past 6 years...
So after a kick in the guts like that, after every thing that I have done for him over the years, he's on top of my hit list and I definitely won't be going to his place in Spain.
Anyhoooo.....
But I have NOT let him or that tarnish the reputation of all Spaniards..so don't panic, I till love you....🤣
Alicante is about 30 30-minute drive from my place, and I went to Torrevieja last year to check out how it looks as real estate is pretty cheap there... compared to other places on the sea...
luckily, I'm not a Spaniard... 😂
Haaaa yes, sooooo lucky that you're not! But even if you were, I still wouldn't paint you with the same hate that I have for my ex- friend of nearly 20 years anyway....
Hahaha 🤣😂
The pictures you shared are really beautiful and extraordinary, I really enjoy them.❤
Thank you, I am so glad that you did enjoy seeing such a magical sight too!
Good morning dear friend @chocolatescorpi
What a beautiful place to stop and rest from the long trip close to nature.
What beautiful landscapes, beautiful video you can see the beauty and tranquility of the place
have a happy wednesday
Ah yes, it was such a wonderful suprise to see a magical forest behind the old hotel.
so glad that you enjoyed it too. XXX
Oh yes, it was such a wonderful magical place to find, and such a suprise, especially after the quirkyness of the hotel inside!
Such a shame that the Lyre bird was so camera shy though hey.

Thank you, so glad that you liked them, it is such a magical place and I can't wait to go back again and go for a longer hike, but that will have to wait for spring/summer next year though.
Sure! Dinner places really like the come back visit.
