RE: A Wednesday Walk to meet my new friends

Yeah they are very cool and apparently they have been there for about 20yrs...
but it was only fairly recently that the AR stories were created for them to entertain and educate the tourists and the locals.

Unfortunately I was not able to get the AR working and was dodging the constant and heavy rain, so I did not get the real story- which is a real shame, but atleast I know it's there for next time. (Which is also why I had to take a bit of creative license and write my own...)

Yeah I loved the detail with Herbert and his newspaper, but the pipe band were my favourites. Oh and I loved Pierre promoting the events too!

According to the very little actual details on the net that I could find out about them and the AR experience, there's quite a few bollards that I missed out on too, so I'll be making sure I find them next time too!

Sort:

WOW they are in good condition for having been there so long
I look forward to a future post when you tell us about the AR stories, but you did super well with your own it was such fun to read

Yeah they are considering, because really there were only a couple that had any really noticeable deterioration on them and considering they were all literally only meters away from the water too.

And they were the lifeguards- which is not that different from their real counterparts- off their faces...lol...

Glad that you enjoyed the story cause I actually feel really bad that I wasn't able to get the real one...but next time eh.

You really should not feel bad you told us the stories you felt on seeing them which makes it very special

Yes but I feel bad for not knowing more because of all the artists involved...you know what I mean...

YEah I know what you mean, but as you said maybe you will learn more on your next visit there

Yep, Absolutely I will and I'll have my new camera with me too! 😃

So thats an outing to look forward to :)
