Walking Around the Land of Replicas

Happy Humpday, Wednesday Walker!

How is your midweek going?

This post is the continuation of our little tour in Torres Farm and Resort that I posted last week.

Our little tour was cut off last time at the Statue of Liberty because I needed to attend to my kids needs after they came out of the pool. They ate a quick lunch before they took the shower, changed clothes, settled our things in the car compartment, and proceeded to walk while our hair was still dripping wet. There was no more time to dry them, and I also forgot to bring the dryer.

Netherland Windmill

For the second half of our tour, this cute yellow windmill was our first stop.

There was a group of tourists taking photos ahead of us, so we waited for our turn and took a groupie picture, then proceeded to the next one. The kids were already tired of swimming, which is very evident in the photo. By now, I know that touring the whole place by foot is almost impossible.

Big Ben

I was expecting the youngest one to request to be carried while on our way here, but he was determined to walk and see the next replica too; he was as interested as his older brother.

My firstborn was actually super excited to check out what was inside the replica, expecting something interesting to see, but he was left disappointed because the "Big Ben" was actually a comfort room😆; the left and right wings were divided into male and female comfort rooms.

Next to this Elizabeth Tower or Big Ben replica is the iconic red telephone booth in London. My older son actually made an attempt to test whether the phone was functional out of pure curiosity. Silly kiddo!

The Train Station

I was relieved when I saw the train station was now open. I have an alternative way of roaming around just in case the little one falls asleep. His older brother still wanted to explore the place more, and I don't want to wait in the car, so I will tag along even if it means I need to carry a sleeping toddler. 😆

Approaching the train ticket booth, We decided to buy train tickets because we were already tired of walking.

I was so right! He fell asleep as soon as the train started moving. Maybe the nursery rhyme put him to sleep.

Alright, let's go for a ride.

I can no longer come up close to take a closer picture of the replica because we are now riding a train, though it is moving slowly enough for us to take photos of the replicas that will pass along the way.

It started to sprinkle rain when we reached this part of the farm before the train detour going back to the train station to complete the ride. If you've watched the video, you will also see some landmarks that I missed taking photos of, such as the replica of the Great Wall of China and the all-year-round Christmas Village where they have snow party during weekend.

There are more attractions under construction; yes, they are adding more to the already long list of replicas.

If you're interested to visit, here are some details about the farm and resort.

This will conclude my blog for a great walk through this amazing place of landmark replicas. This is my participation in the #WednesdayWalk organized by @tattoodjay in collaboration with #makemesmile by @elizacheng. I hope we had fun exploring the area together and that it made you smile as well.

Thank you for reading, and see you on my next one!

❤️❤️❤️
