Hi fellow Walkers,

Today I'm back with more waterfalls! I don't know if it's annoying for y'all but I love waterfalls and seem to find them often lately lol

Waterfall Walk

The little man and I decided that we would go out one day and try our hand at doing some early season fishing for trout! I haven't been trout fishing in many years so I figured let's give it a try. I normally think of trout fishing as one that's in a river or something so that's where we decided to try out. It turned out to be a really beautiful place to visit!

The fishing trip didn't pan out. We didn't catch anything but that's okay. We got to spend a couple hours outside together and in a gorgeous environment such as this! The waterfall was incredibly fast and heavy moving at this time of year with all of the snow melting.

Some of the fishermen that were there, all fly fishermen (I guess I missed the memo to fly fish lol) had said it was some of the highest levels they've seen on the river and that it was moving unbelievably fast. Those both are recipes for the fish not wanting to bite sadly.

What we did manage to do though is get a few cool snaps of the scenery! The place had some really awesome walls, rock formations and interesting ways that the river flowed around the rocks.

We had to be pretty careful though! The water was super high, incredibly deep in some spots and holy crap was it cold lol.

The whole area made for some beautiful scenery to spend the day in though. We definitely were in awe of the sound of the rushing water, at times depending on where we were standing it was too loud to hear each other lol. We are certainly going to go back in a couple weeks to see if we can grab any of the trout!

Yay! More waterfalls! Thank you for sharing them, it's lovely to live vicariously through you and take a walk around these beautiful places. CA almost hear the sound of the flowing water.

I'm sorry you didn't catch anything, but maybe next time. I'm sure it was nice to spend a few hours connecting with nature though!

Be well and see you around 😊

Thanks! Yeah it was a lot of fun being here even if we didn't catch anything. It was wonderful to sit there and listen to the waterfall. I enjoyed that the most!

Thanks for checking it out, I also live vicariously through many peoples posts and pictures! I love the variety of the platform that's for sure!

Hello, the current looks tremendous, the trout must be delicious, the truth is that I have never eaten them or other river fish, like sea fish because I live in a small fishing village but it would be interesting to fish there.

Yeah the current was intense! This one guy tried to walk out and was really struggling to get across. No thanks lol.

It was a beautiful place indeed!

I haven't eaten trout in many years so I don't remember what they taste like but hopefully this spring we can catch one to try it!

Nice waterfall with a beautiful view, the water also so clear. Thank you.

Thanks! The water was pretty amazing but holy crap was it cold!! Thankfully we didn't fall into it lol

Thank you are welcome.

I will never tire of seeing photos of waterfalls and these are so beautiful

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

Haha thanks! I think this might be my last or second to last waterfall post for a little bit! I know I've seen maybe one more I haven't posted yet :D

It's pretty fun being close to hills and mountains so we get lots of waterfall action!

I am envious I don’t know if many near here I must explore further afield and see if I can find some

I think the closest to you might be the blue hills. There’s some streams and rivers that come out of that area I think!

Thanks I will check that out ;)

IT'S WONDERFUL Place ❤️ i love the atmosphere and all 🤗 Utterly perfect Photography dear.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun to be in the area and listen to the relaxing waterfall and just slow down in life to enjoy it. Had a wonderful time!
