RE: No teacher around

I don't know, I almost think suburbs would be better for the post-apocalyptic feel. Nafplio has a timeless feel to me, while suburbs just feel unnatural and like their waiting for something to go wrong so they can die.

I've went on a few of those nighttime walks trying to get that post-apocalyptic feel, albeit with a DSLR. Didn't have much luck either. Only time I managed it was purely by accident, shooting protests and riots at night. Were you even in Athens when the anarchists were clashing with the cops?

You are probably right, they seem so unnatural and wrong in the first place.

Were you even in Athens when the anarchists were clashing with the cops?

Which time?
From 1991, when a school teacher was murdered by the fascists, till 2008 when a student was murdered from a cop, I have been to dozens occasions that can be described like that, not all of them so dramatic but quite messy.

Didn't have a specific time in mind, just knew it happened a decent bit there. Would occasionally hear about it on Indymedia or some other leftist outlet, I was always slightly jealous, that sort of thing rarely happens here (the clashes with the cops, we definitely have our fair share of trouble with fascists).

Ha, yeah, I know what you mean
