Tunas is a beautiful city, not only for its geography and its people but because of how culture and tradition are mixed with the benefits of its natural environment.
We arrived early, my wife and I, we decided to enter the city, walking from the ring way to the Martian Square, which was our final destination.
Many friends were there waiting for us and worried about our delay.When we told them we were making the journey on foot, they suggested that we should take some transport but our intention was to enjoy the city inside and as close as possible.
Thus we started enjoying each of the artistic works that we found in our path: murals, sculptures and all kinds of spaces designed from art and expressing concepts of local identity.
Many are the names of the creators who enrich with their work the beauty of this city but among all of them there is a name that stands out; Rita Longa.
Most of the works that embellish the city of las Tunas, hace her signature. Since several sculptural complexes, relief murals, to independent works designed for singular spaces and the mask of José Martí that crowns the sculptural complex at the Martian Square.
We enjoy each space, we walk taking our hands like two lovers, stopping continuously to admire the beauty, taking all possible photos so that you can also enjoy with us, this walk through the city of Las Tunas.

Hola amigos hivers de esta comunidad de caminantes. Me acerco con la intención de compartir con ustedes, nuestro último paseo.
Las Tunas es una ciudad hermosa, no solo por su geografía y su gente sino por como se mezcla la cultura y la tradición con las bondades de su entorno natural.
Llegamos temprano, mi esposa y yo, decidimos entrar a la ciudad, caminando desde la circunvalación hasta La plaza Martiana, que era nuestro destino final.
Muchos amigos nos esperaban y se preocupaban por nuestra demora. Cuando les dijimos que estábamos haciendo el trayecto a pie, nos sugirieron que tomáramos algún transporte pero nuestra intención era disfrutar de la ciudad por dentro y tan cerca como nos fuera posible.
Así echamos a andar disfrutando de cada una de las obras artísticas que encontrábamos a nuestro paso: murales, esculturas y todo tipo de espacios diseñados desde el arte y expresando conceptos de la identidad local.
Muchos son los nombres de los creadores que enriquecen con su quehacer, la belleza de esta ciudad, pero entre todos hay un nombre que destaca; Rita Longa.
La mayoría de las obras que embellecen a Las Tunas, llevan su firma. Desde varios complejos escultóricos, murales a relieve, hasta obras independientes, pensadas para espacios singulares o la mascarilla de José Martí que corona el complejo escultórico de la Plaza Martiana.
Disfrutamos de cada espacio, caminamos tomados de las manos como dos enamorados, deteniéndonos continuamente para admirar la belleza, hacer todas las fotos posibles para que también ustedes puedan disfrutar de este paseo por la ciudad de las Tunas.
