RE: This isn't Going To Be A Walk in The Park

£15k, yikes. Yeah, less than a year ago when I was in it like you are, it was £5k. That's a helluva markup.

Not only was I to separate from her for nearly a year and release my passport but it would've cost me £5k.

I know exactly what you're going through. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. We had to leave. I'm sorry that's happening to you.

Please do keep me posted. I know your husbands work will navigate the majority of your path. You're a lot like me, bobbing and weave with the punches. Gets exhausting after awhile.

It still is, but to stay… you have to repeat the same process at 2 years and 9 month, and 2,5 years after that. Plus all the double cost from living apart a year I haven’t added yet. That’s a renovation of a cottage…
I think now, their loss… we will move on.
Now we need to wait indeed what work says. 🤓As that is the main factor that influences our lives at the moment.

I know, it is just crazy, on one hand they want you to proof you have a relationship and be together and then they separate you? It so doesn’t make sense…

I will keep you posted, and it sounds like we have a lot more in common than we thought 😎
Up to plan… D or was it F or … hahahaha 🤣😂
Enjoy your day 👋🏻☀️Thanks a lot @dandays 🤗

Great point. We had to consider that too. And do the numbers. Not just time apart, fees, and release my passport but like you said, two living expenses.

Wtf!

What in the real fuck is that about?!

Hey, you know what? A colleague of Pura's took off to England about three months ago with his wife and child. He said they had everything figured out, lawyer yata yata, knows everything. My wife tried explaining to him it's not like that and waned to tell him what happened to us after lawyers and govt officials blew smoke to our asses.

He wouldn't listen. I haven't heard but I can only imagine the hole they're climbing out of now.

Know what a buncha virtual stranger friends of ours said when England let me stay? Something along the lines of good! Who tf wants to be in dreary ass UK anyway?!

= }

A lot of things are involved in getting a residency now in the UK. One has to look at the whole picture.
And they still can refuse you, each time. Before you can stay stay…

Exactly like that 😳😵‍💫

Wow… they must have problems too. We didn’t get it. (You and me)

They are refusing many applications now I heard. Waiting lines for appeals and admin. Review went from 6 months to 12 months. Due to unprecedented applications. So all eu scheme applications must have been closed now. They could have told us before we moved when we talked to them.

🙄
I know…

Unfortunately we have not many options left at the moment. Climate and weather won’t change much I am afraid hehehe
Due to work and hubby being British… since UK left the EU he can’t just move to an eu country anymore.
We figure it out. We have a bit of time 🕰️

Brexit really put a big red F word on everything. Speaking of, the number of people I talked to there about Brexit were against it with the exception of one cab driver. I asked him why he voted for it.

He told me because I didn't understand. I'm not making this up.

Then Covid. Now the war. Weird time to be a gypsy.

It sure did.
Yes, for me the same… the people I talked too about it. Wanted to stay.
So many were not informed properly what it truly means.

It sure is a weird time to be a gypsy 🤔

Just shoot back over here, I'll buy you a coffee. It's raining outside, nice day for a coffee. = }

Will do for sure one day 😎😉
Perfect day for coffee when it rains…
Have an awesome new week 👋🏻
