My Walking Wednesday - Happiness Comes From Simple Things ❤️

in Wednesday Walk3 years ago

Hi guys, how are you today?

Today is Wednesday which is the day that I am motivated to walk around to explore things thanks to the Wednesday Walk community. This is an activity that I like very much, it both helps me to exercise and share daily stories from different angles to everyone. Please take a look at the interesting things that I experienced today.

You can walk at any time of the day as long as you like, walk in the morning to breathe fresh air and recharge for the day, and walk in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset romantic. But today I chose to go for a walk in the evening to enjoy a relaxing time after a long tiring and stressful day of work, which also helps me easily get a good night's sleep.

Near my house there is a square, every evening a lot of people gather here. Here there is a space large enough for us to play for free in the evening. It is divided into different zones and is surrounded by trees making it an ideal place to enjoy a date or a walk. When I went to the park today, there were quite a few people. At this hour, there would normally be a lot of groups here, but now because of the Covid-19 epidemic, everyone is afraid to go out, and thanks to that, I was less worried when I was afraid of being in contact with many people.

In the evening, quite a few people come here to walk, including me. I usually walk 3 times a week, each session I will spend about 1-2 hours walking. Walking not only helps me have good health but also helps me appreciate the things around me, I feel happy when I observe the activities going on while walking. Looking at everyone laughing and talking happily, it seems that all the fatigue in me has disappeared. Happiness is not far away, it is right next to you, when you slow down and observe more, even the image of a smiling child makes you happy.

There are all ages here, from the elderly to children. Elderly people walk gently but have many health benefits. Walking helps them get a good night's sleep, relax their mind, and also help them lose weight.

Young people have all kinds of games that they can think of, from skateboarding, kicking, jumping rope, singing or sitting together to play "werewolves". This is also a place chosen by people to organize club activities.

The children are brought by their parents to play games such as riding a "tram car", riding a bicycle, and playing on swings together. Couples who love each other can hold hands, walk, and tell each other stories about life.

Here there are not only games but also a variety of snacks to cater to food enthusiasts. There are fried fish balls, grilled sweet potatoes, sweet pia beef,... they are all famous street foods in Da Nang.

I don't walk alone. One particular companion that I really like is my dog. His name is "Ba Du", a name that sounds special but is actually very simple. The name speaks volumes about his personality, implying that he is a goofy dog. He looks stupid but he's actually very emotional. Every time I take him for a walk, he gets excited and feels like everything around him is new.

I don't know if it's because I love him too much, but I think he's the cutest dog I've ever seen ❤. People around him also like him and especially the children. I encountered many different dog breeds here, and so "Ba Du" made new friends. They looked like they were having a lot of fun, but I had to interrupt the dogs to continue my walk.

My walks usually end around 10 p.m. by which point I've reached my goal of walking 5,000 steps and are ready to go home, and my dog looks tired too. My Wednesday Walk is so complete. How about you? How's your Wednesday Walk? Please share with me and everyone.
