HOW TO JOIN MAKEMESMILE
a. Basically, it will still be the same as the first season. Your post can be in writing, singing, video, poem, drawing, photography, etc... The most important element is your post Make "ME" Smile. Remember, the ME is whoever read/view/listen your post and this includes YOURSELF.
b. Your content must be ORIGINAL CONTENT.
c. Please include at least 50 words in your post.
Happy Wednesday everyone!!! How's your week so far? Mine is superb. I went to meet up with my highschool classmate... It's been many many years since we last met... It was really awesome...
Initially I was still having doubts like whether we still recognise each other or not, whether we will feel awkward or not... But none of this happen at all... Three of us met up at a cafe... We recognised each other at first glance and we even remembered each others full name... No dead air at all...
Maybe you may wonder why we have not met for years... Well, it's because I am not in my hometown anymore... I left to further my studies and then got married and settle down here in KL. We have a WhatsApps group, but I have not been the active one... I have not join any of the gatherings as I am not in town where they are at.
Then one of my classmate said that he is in KL this two weeks... Asked whether anyone in KL area would wanna meet up... I thought well maybe I should make an effort to make this happen... So I replied the message... And to my surprise, there's another classmate who actually stay nearby my area too... And both of us never know this at all... We have been in the same area for many years... 😂
It's a great gathering... A great walk for me too... Parked my car... Walked quite a distance to the cafe... Why? Because I have not been to that mall before by myself, so I actually parked at the opposite mall which I was more familiar and walked over via the overhead linked bridge.
It was a Tuesday afternoon. So the cafe was not really crowded. We had a great time chatting and catching up with each other. Time flies.. two and a half hours just flew away without any dead air...
I wonder how many of you are still keeping in touch with your highschool classmate? If yes, do you meet up often? If not, would you wanna meet up if possible?
Not sure is it because I am getting older or what, I think this friendship is really valuable and we should really cherish it. We started knowing each other when we were just teenagers, and now many of us are already in parenthood...
I hope I will be joining more of these gatherings with my highschool classmates in the future.

How wonderful to have a meetup with old classmates - it is wonderful to catch up with old friends. I just connected with one of my old childhood friends through Facebook she recognized me. It was wonderful to have that old connection again!

Totally love all the animals there at your place. They are all so cute. It would be fun to have them as company. I can imagine me sitting by the fire with JJ, walking with Bruno in the woods... Looking at the squirrels and birds playing in the yard... Just that I am not sure whether they are comfortable to have me around or not 😂
