On a trip to Hotel Comodoros celebrating my retirement

In 2023, when I turned 60 years old, I retired.

It was a difficult process because I had spent 42 years working and suddenly I would have to retire, not be with my coworkers and move on to a less hectic life. I recognize that I was not prepared for this new stage of my life and, even though some of my friends who were going through this process explained to me the reality, it exceeded my expectations.

It is true that it was difficult at the beginning, but, by assuming a healthy lifestyle and fleeing from a sedentary life, I began to enjoy this new stage of my life.

Now I am free to go wherever I want and I can, get up without having the pressure of the schedule and enjoy every celebration I can or any invitation that a friend or my husband makes me and is to my liking.

For this reason, and following my birthday as a retiree, I went to the Comodoro Hotel.

This is one of my favorite places because it is a resort that has all the options to have a nice time. This complex has swimming pools, restaurant, beach area, markets, stores to buy clothes and shoes, cafeteria and many other options.

As the temperature was a bit cold at dawn, I decided to avoid swimming at the beach or the pool and concentrated on enjoying other recreational options. Like any self-respecting woman, I visited the shoe store and was able to bring a pair home after paying a considerable sum for my economy, but, it is the article of clothing that I like the most and, whenever I can, I buy a pair of shoes and incorporate it into my collection.

In spite of not being able to bathe, I enjoyed the music they play in the place, danced, ate the food they cook, exchanged anecdotes with my husband and friends and did everything I felt like enjoying.

I had an incredible evening and enjoyed myself as I always do when I go out to have fun.

Tomorrow I will continue this celebration party and see what surprise the day has in store for me.
