A cruise ship stoped by the town yesterday and the streets filled with tourists wandering around. This is a common thing during the summer season but we don't have many of them in winter time. So I grabbed the opportunity to blend into the crowd and pretend that I am on vacations too :)
Why I did that?
For no apparent reason. I can go for a walk in the town any day of the week and the extra tourists had no photographic interest for me. Nevertheless it felt like a good idea. I hanged my camera on my neck and started strolling around, looking with awe the beauties of the town, exactly like the first time!
The statue of the riding warlord was pointing towards the cruise ship as if he was telling me:
They are coming from that way!

A couple of days ago we had some rain but it looks like spring is rushing to come and the weather is getting hotter every day. We won't miss the sunshine from now on (not that we ever actually do) and if the summer is anything like the last one, we would probably miss the cold breeze of the winter instead!
If by any chance you are new to my blog and don't know which town I, so often, photograph and talk about, it is Naflio and if you follow the link on its name, you can read all the boring details and historical facts about it :)

For myself, this is one of the most photogenic towns of Greece, if I am allowed to use the word "photogenic" for a town. But I guess that you understand what I mean. Every corner, every building, every street, is an opportunity for one more shot, one more scenic picture, one more photograph to save and remember!

I wonder if I'll ever get bored of taking pictures of the same town over and over again. I think that I have written this at least one more time but the years are passing by and no sign of it yet :)
Anyway out of the hundreds, if not thousands, of photos that I have taken on those streets, I don't think that I can find two, that can be called the same or even so similar to be considered as a repetition.
So I'll probably continue exploring angles, shadows and light, until I feel that I had too much of it or if you tell me:
Enough with that town, isn't there anything else in Greece?

The camera that I used is a Canon EOS 850D with an EF-S 18-135mm lens attached. I edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic

Beautiful Naflio and seen through your lens it is even more so. I loved the photo of the equestrian sculpture. Greetings to both of you...and also to Marcos ;)
