Hello Wednesday walkers!
Did you have a nice walk today?
Here it was raining most of the day, so I didnt get out! But I had some walkies in the province of Limburg a while ago!
Limburg is the only province in the Netherlands that has got some hills! They even call them mountains here. Mountains as high as 79 meters.... 😂
But here is were I found my first water wheel of the Netherlands! It's at the end of "molenbeek" creek!
It has been build in the year 1725 and there is a historic foundation that is maintaining this water mill! They organised tours in and around it and even, when there is enough water, operate it for the education of school kids!
This is the mill from the other side! What a beautiful place!
The surrounding forest is also very beautiful! Cows ar grazing in the field next to the mill!
And many hiking trails are running trough here! Also the longest one in the Netherlands! The Pieterpad! It runs from the north to the south of the country!
These pictures were made very early in the morning as yo can see!

I don’t take any walk today. I only went out to get something. I love your pictures though. You had a great walk!
The waterwheel from the 1700’s and it still looks amazing I am glad they use it as a teaching tool ❤️
It's a beauty 😍 I see now it's called a waterwheel, translated from Dutch it's water mill😂
