Wednesday Walk - Out with the Secondborn on a "Hunting Spree"

in Wednesday Walk2 days ago (edited)

Yay it is Wednesday Walk again. Whenever I have a content for #wednesdaywalk I get a bit more excited about posting hahaha.

So my secondborn is not in kindergarten year 2 where he gets assignments from his teachers from time to time as they practised having photos of the child doing a certain thing or location to help the child remember and learn better.

This round, the teacher messaged us to ask us to collect some photos of them being at some places like wet market, post office, restaurant, hospital, school and library.

We had to do it over a few weekends because it was not that easy to move about during school days.

This was the last week before the deadline so I went out with him.

After his baby sister had fallen asleep, I asked my husband to take over and I went out with the secondborn on our exclusive date.

1st stop was the hospital. It is not easy for us to go to a big hospital so we went to a small one designated for women and children called Naluri.

After that he asked me to take photos of him and this toy rings I got for his sister.

He had lots of things to talk about and I was glad to give him full attention that day.

Then we went to a nearby post office too to have him posed next to a maibox. I don't know if his generation will ever use a mailbox or not but I am surely glad he gets to still see one.

Next, we packed lunch and he told me he wanted to go the bookshop where he asked for a puzzle.

Before going home, we had to stop by a car wash to have the car washed because the car mats were stained with some dirt and they gave out bad odour.

While waiting for the car to be washed, we walked to a nearby mart to get some ice-cream to cool us down on a very scorching hot day.

Then we walked back to where the car wash is, and enjoyed our ice-cream while waiting.

Finally the car was sparkling clean! He was already asking to go home.

Let me also show you what other places we went the weeks before. Some were taken by his father, and the market one by his grandma.

A school

A library

A morning market

A restaurant

So the final outcome looked like this when he brought back what he did with his Chinese teacher in school.

What an effort and a great idea from the teacher!

This little boy is growing up really fast and he is our sunshine boy! The husband and I are already missing him being his younger self so I treasure every moment I can have with him, especially exclusive time with him. Time is really fleeting as the children grow up fast. I really wish I can seize every moment or somehow immortalize them.
