A breath of fresh air is all you need to take the stress away. Walking around with your loved ones is the best way to unwind and replenish.
I will take you through our walk at Cordova Roro Port located in Cordova, Cebu City Philippines.
Cordova Roro Port Road is one of the famous go-to places for relaxation if you are in the Lapu-Lapu or Cordova area. This is the port for roro ships going to Bohol.
But most people come here especially during night time just to walk around and simply unwind.
The roads are massive enough for all types of vehicles and alongside the road are spaces perfect for hikers, joggers and people just hanging out beside the street.
It is very nice to come here especially during nighttime because it is very windy so when having a hike or a jog, you will not get sweaty since it is really very windy in the area.
Heading towards Cordova Roro Port Road, we rode our motorcycle but we chose to walk around heading towards the roads since we planned to go for a hike since we just finished eating dinner.
I have read in studies that it is not advisable to lay down after eating a heavy meal, therefore the best thing to do is to walk around and hike a bit.
When we arrived at the entrance, we saw this van it was full of tourists, they were speaking a different language, therefore, I concluded they really weren’t from Cebu City.
We brought our dog Uno with us. He loves to go for a walk with us too.
I bring his leash everytime we go for a walk because everytime he sees different dogs, he tends to get so excited and runs around uncontrollably.
Our dog loves to go out every once just like us, of course. Not that the weather is so hot, it is important to get a breath of fresh air and relax every once in a while and there is no better way to do it than to go out for a walk in the windy Cordova Roro Port Road.
I love that the Cordova Roro Port Road is very well lighted because it gives extra safety for all the hikers and joggers who goes in the place.
If you are from Lapu-lapu or Cordova area, I highly suggest you go for a walk or jog here at Cordova Roro Port Road if you want to enjoy some fresh air and enjoy some serenity while walking around.
The place is safe because in every entrance and exit are police officers on duty to help keep maintain the safety of everyone.
There are a lot of goers here because not to mention, there are a lot of food stalls here in the Cordova Roro Port Road. I already made a separate blog about there barbeque stations which is one of the most famous spots why people visit here.
But if your aim is just to walk around and jog, then this is the place to be indeed. Like us, we just finished dinner so we did not go here to get food rather just to go on a little hike to digest the foods we ate faster.
If you have some pets that you want to walk around, you can bring them here too just make sure to be responsible pet owners.
Remember, not only us humans need to go for a walk but also our pets. They are like us too, they need some exercise as well.
