Good day, my dear Hivers!

@itsmemic once again, and I am excited to share with you today a story about the recent family dinner we had. The spontaneous yet memorable dinner was filled with laughter, good food, and small but special moments.

Earlier that evening, we had just spent some time at the Simala Shrine which very popular among devotees, and as night fell, we began to feel hungry. It was getting late by then, so my Dad asked us about which restaurant we wanted to try. Everybody was craving a good meal, so the decision had to be made fast.

Then, my mom said, why don't we head to an eat-all-you-can buffet at SM? There wasn't any hesitation; we all agreed. Who would say no to free-flowing feeds, right? That's it; we've got to head out, all so eager to feast.

Well, since SM is very big, my dad and younger brother went directly ahead to find the detour, while the others trailed.

But my sister and I had to make a small detour. Why? Simply because we couldn't resist taking a quick mirror selfie! It's a sister thing- we have to take pictures, especially if the moment is right.

After our quick moment, we rushed to our dad and brother to find them. Once we found them, my younger brother told me to take his picture after I had taken mine.

Naturally, I did it happily, and here are some of his best poses.

We continued our walk and then happened upon this little stall selling crochet-made items. Oh my gosh, I was in awe! The level of hard work, determination, and patience that goes into making those crochet pieces is really impressive. The details! The texture! The bold colors! It is so inspiring to see that kind of skill up close.

Apart from crochet, all these little other stalls sold multiple assorted items from fresh mangoes, lucky charms, many others. Markets are so much fun to wander through, you never know how many strange and wonderful things you might discover.

After all those little detours, we finally arrived at the buffet restaurant they had been looking for! They called the place Cabalen, with a subtitle: Eat all you can, eat all you want. Smart huh? The name itself will bring excitement to stuffing yourself with food.

Well, it was P498 per head, which we think is reasonable for the wide variety of dishes.

Walking inside was like entering a fully stocked mini-mart of mouthwatering dishes range was huge!

And, of course, I won't miss out on another mirror selfie.

But here's the funny part: my mom accidentally got caught in the background of my stolen shot. If she finds out, she might scold me! But honestly, my mother looks gorgeous here, so it's fine.

And that’s all for this blog, my dear Hivers! Thank you all for reading!

Those crochet flowers are so lovely!

The Cabalen price is indeed reasonable! I love their crispy kangkong dipped in mayo! :D
