This was clearly a nice walk on a nice fresh, peaceful morning.

Yes, sometimes I admit the temptation is there to go ahead and investigate, but I have the same "habit" as you... If there are "No Trespassing" signs, I do not ignore them and I stay out. I guess that is what they are there for and for a good reason.
