Happy Monday, dear Hivers! I recently went for a run around the longest bridge in the Philippines, - the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway. This is one of the favorite spots for runners because of the sunset and sunrise view.
We arrived at the venue at 4 AM. The sky was still too dark making me think that it's a night run instead of an early morning run. Before starting, I made sure to stretch my legs and toes to gear up for a long run. In the event, they also included a zumba dance before the run to help people stretch their muscles. And then we began.
One of things I enjoyed when running outdoor is the scenic view that we would passed by. The clouds, trees, and everything in between, makes a 12 km run bearable. I don't experience sunrise often because waking up early has always been my struggle. But when I do, I'm always in awe of its beauty. God really did create a masterpiece.
By 7 AM, the scorching heat is starting to rise. Note that the bridge is quite long and is only one way. Turning point is still at around 4 km, So we alleviate our run and finish it quick.
Nearby the bridge are plants in tin can. I'm not sure if this is for sale or is a government project. One of the runner's commented that these are vegetables. My plantita (a person who loves plants) heart is happy.
I'm not sure when I could run in this place again, as it's quite far from our house. But I promise this won't be the last time. My interest in outdoor running is slowly increasing. I hope I can join another marathon again.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane

Joining in a fun run activity is one of my dreams, but it's so sad because I have an asthma, that makes it hard for me to join.
Hope that you find it more enjoyable next time 😍
I remember joining a Milo marathon before, every year. And we do just walking and a little run hehe. It's tiring but somehow enjoy to do.
