Hey! It's the first Wednesday of the year and I want to invite you for a walk as a morning exercise and for sure you will enjoy the view along the way and you will learn something around.

Yesterday afternoon, my son invited me for a walk but I didn't said yes because the clouds is dark and the rain might fall. I promised him that we will have a walk the next day if he would wake up early and if the weather is favorable.

This morning, I am awake early but I didn't stand up too soon because the weather is so cold. We are experiencing too much cold since Monday evening. I tried to grab my phone to check the temperature and oh it's 22 degree celsius.

My son was already awake too but still grab the blanket to cover his body from the cold breeze of the air.

When my husband bid good bye for work, I need to go out to close the door and bid good bye to him when I noticed the beautiful sky.

I went inside to grab my phone and took a picture of the orange sky. Oh wow! This is so amazing. I think this is the best color of the sky because of sunrise that I have witness since we were here.

I thought the sun would be shining bright this day because of this view but I was wrong. It is not a sunny day but a cloudy day.

It's already 6:25 in the morning when we decided to have a walk. I wear a jacket because I really felt cold.

Mt. Matutum can be seen in most area here since it is the highest. So here's the first view we saw as we started our morning Wednesday walk.

If you notice, the pineapples almost died. They were being knocked down after the last harvest activity and when the suckers were being pulled.

Pineapple will give two harvest time before knocking it down. Knockdown is the term used to literally knockdown pineapples as a part of land preparation.

If you were curious how it is being done, here's a picture I have taken last month during the knockdown activity.

While we are walking, we saw my son's friend and we invited him to be with us and here he is, riding a bike and follow us.

I really thought that the harvest is all done in the pineapple field near to us. I really thought that everything is being knockdown but as we walked through, I saw pineapple still standing.

Look at the picture above, the field in the left block have been knockdown already while the next pineapple blocks still standing.

I noticed pineapple crowns with some left over pineapples along the way.

These fruits might being rejected for some reasons like they are rotten or they have sun burns.

As we walk ahead, I saw newly harvested pineapples and with crowns beside. These fruits will be collected later and be put in the bin truck. Crowns will be collected separately to be used for planting.

I found this along the water way too. This is a portable CR for the field employees. I don't know how it looks inside and I don't have the guts to open it too, lol.

This jeep is being used as a service to transport employees (harvesters) from assemble area to the field. This also serves as their shelter when the rain comes abruptly while they are in the middle of the field.

When we are near in the creek, my son and his friend went toward the creek and I just followed them.

Here they are making some pose with this trees with something hanging in it. I love the ambiance of the nature because it is so natural.

I passed this road for the first time and it reminds me of the mountains. Passing along with it under the trees is so relaxing. You can feel the cold breeze of the air.

Looking at the sunlight trying to go out along the trees is amazing and gives you a sense of satisfaction.

Look at my son, running towards the uphill. It serves as his exercise as we enjoy the beauty of nature around.

Up above the creek, this view welcome us. Another view of giant, amazing and great Mt. Matutum. It shows us it's wonderful color making us smile while just looking at it.

We also meet the sun as we cannot see it on the other side because it was covered by the trees. The sun is already up but it didn't shine so bright because it was covered by the clouds.

We stay for a while up there and enjoy the fresh air, the beautiful view and the relaxing surroundings.

While standing, I saw this garden or should I say a little farm beside the pineapple plantation. It has a lot of fruit trees and I think how blessed the owner of it is. Having a farm with fruit trees is really a blessing especially when they bare fruits and they can enjoy it free.

After a while we go back to head home and we found these ripe pineapples ready for harvest.

We also saw this group of harvesters in the other side. They started harvesting so early in the morning. They really work hard for their family.

This is the other group of harvesters in the next two blocks. They are hand picking pineapples. As you can see they are in one line so all pineapples can be harvested in a row.

As we are heading home we saw this wide knockdown field. Those pineapple will stay there until it will become rotten and it will serve as natural fertilizer in the land. The company will apply something to make the decomposition faster and the next step for land preparation will be done.

My son's friend saw this horse afar and he insisted to take picture of it. I just zoom it out to took that picture.

When we are about to reach home, I noticed that my son's feet is so dirty, look at it. There's a lot of mud in his legs as he is just wearing slippers.

That was a great morning Wednesday walk that also serves as our morning exercise and at the same time a mother and son bonding.

This is also my participation for the #wednesdaywalk initiated by @tattoodjay and #makemesmile by @elizacheng.

All photos are mine.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed our walk in the pineapple field.

Wow! Your place is beautiful, especially Mt. Matutum. It's like Mt. Mayon if you're in our place, Albay. And having a pineapple plantation is not common to see. Looks like pineapple is too cheap in your place unlike what we have here in the market.

Yes it is really cheap here but most of the time we can have it free as long as their is harvest here hehehe. When the harvest is all done, we can search for some remaining pineapple and we can have it for free.

Wow. I love to live there. Lol. But, nakakasawa din ang pineapple. Lalo kung lagi lagi meron haha. Tas nakakapanipis sa dila. 😅

By season lang din Naman Yung pagtanim kaya di Rin araw2 hehehe

What a gorgeous sunrise to start the day with and a beautiful walk

Thanks for joining the Wednesday, its always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks

Thank you also for this blogging initiative sir @tattoodjay. Yes that was a great sunrise to start the day. It was a great walking view yesterday.

🤣 I won't dare opening those portable toilet either. You live in a nice place and close to mountain. After seeing so many post about PH here, I think they are more natural than Indonesia these days. We have too many buildings and traffic jams even in small city and provinces. Not to mention, they are building gated residents which I think just erase more fields and decreasing greenery around/

Oh are you from Indonesia @macchiata? We are living in the province and there's a lot of pineapple field here as the biggest pineapple company here is located in our Barangay. You can also find traffic's especially in the city but I would also say that there were lots of beautiful places to visit in the Philippines.

This scenery is something that I look forward. Love to see lots of pineapples

Yes there were lots of pineapples Sasha because there is a biggest company of pineapples here. The Dole Philippines inc.

Wow!! I would be very happy for sure if I will get to see this Pineapple plantation. Love it. ❤️

Ang lamig jen. Ako rin oag ganyang weather parang ayoko muna bumangon. Ganda ng Mt. Matutum! Is it dormant? Ganda talaga ng place nyo. Naku! Wag buksan yang portable cr. Magugulat ka! 😆😆😆

Lamig nga grave two consecutive days na Ganon kalamig and guess what di kami nakaligo that day sa subrang lamig hehehe.

Mt. Matutum is an active stratovolcano.

Yes hahaha baka ano pa Makita ko doon hahaha

Thanks @bluepark for your time.

Wow sis napaka lawak tlaga Ng mga lupain dyan nuhh dtu kasi puros katubigan ehh. Chaka right after the knockdown tatamnan ule kaya for sure mataba ule ang lupa

Yes sis our place is opposite to yours, Dito puro pinyaham sa inyu Naman puro katubigan.

After knockdown, my chopping pa, para Yung puno Ng pinya mas lumiit at mas madali madecompose.

Thanks for dropping by sis @usagigallardo015

Ganda ng shots feeling ko bago ang cellphone nito! HAHAH

Nako ang ulan din dito in the past few days ngayon palang nag sta start umaraw. Di ko alam na may mga ganung ganap pa sa pinya. I always saw some tractors within the area after ng harvest akala ko pang patag ng lupa sya. Yun pala ang purpose nun.

Dito sa may amin, parang per season sila nagtatanim kakaharvest lang since nag Pasko at bagong taon.

May pa feeling2 ka pa hehehe eh pareho tayo eh. Di ganoon kaganda Ang phone nya atleast Malaki ang storage hehehe.

Yang sunrise, first time ko naka capture ng ganyan ka orange. Though orange sya in personal but the picture makes it more orange hehehe.

Dito after knockdown, may chopping pa, tapos parang mamix na Ang lupa at puno Ng pinya at pa stay pa para malanta.

Oh thank you so much @hive-145540.. more blessings to the community.

You're welcome

Ang sarap naman po tingnan yung mga pinya, very healthy and you are lucky to have the opportunity to see this especially during harvest time.

Yes they look so good @terenous. They are smaller now compared to the early days when I was still young. I remember pineapple that time is so big not like today they were small.

We always have an opportunity to witness this because we are living near in the pineapple field.
