Hello friends of the Wednesday walks! Today I want to share a little bit of what was a nice walk with my girl in a popular park in downtown Caracas. I had a hard time convincing my girl, since among so many places where we can connect with nature in this city, this is the least attractive for my wife, for many reasons that I will tell you about, but I managed to convince her and we spent a stress-free time holding hands.
These pictures are from Los Caobos Park in the center of Caracas, I really come here very often, but I rarely go for a walk with Jhoxiris. I like it because there is a lot of vegetation, tall trees that in many areas make it look a little dark; but as I told you above, my girl doesn't like it, and it is that it is generally not well kept like the rest of the parks in the city, in fact there is a part that is full of garbage, and the small pools stand out for their dirty water, except for the main fountain in the middle of the park, that is the best area.
But beyond that, walking through Los Caobos Park is to coincide with some works of art that I have always loved, especially the golden elephant, which in fact I had already shared it once in Hive, but I never stop photographing it. The thing is that there is always some interesting artwork and here below I share with you some pictures of them, like the piano and the thinker...
I just have to play crazy and ignore the negative, in fact that's what I do with everything these days, so going to the park is practice for this. Even though there was a lot of tall grass and leaves on the ground from the trees, it really made the park look good, and it shows in these photos. Maybe a lot of the things that are affecting the park are also due to the rainy season, nothing that won't happen with time. The fact is that many people take advantage of these spaces for recreation and exercise and in fact many artistic activities take place here. When we arrived the central fountain was off, but then they turned it on and I understood that it was going to be a special afternoon...

Hi @jesuslnrs, despite the inconveniences, the ride was great, the fountain looks spectacular and the trees around it I love, they create a nice landscape.
Cheers!
Greetings friend! Well, that fountain is in the heart of the Park, and from there everything looks great to any corner you turn. Thanks for touring the park along with me through this post, I really appreciate it...
This is so beautiful sir. I love the fountain because it looks so fresh and sweet.
The pictures of all the trees and the surroundings are very good too.
Thanks for sharing
It is a special place and one of my favorites in downtown Caracas. Thank you very much for visiting it with me through these photographs. A hug for you my friend...
At the first paragraph I thought you will say my wife but you said my girl a bit confused for me.
It's not actually easy to convince a lady I once had the experience, nice picture you have here Sir with the nature.
She's my wife and she's my girl, in fact she's my whole life ❤️ This is a special place to walk, exercise and take amazing pictures, thanks for noticing and for your kind comment...
Yes Sir.
You guys look so good.
Im not so sure it is playing crazy to ignore the negative, I try to do the same and focus on the positive there is far to image negativity in the world and if we dwell on that it will drive us crazy
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
Have a great day :)
An arm for you, brother. You are right, with the passage of time I have learned that it is the best thing to do, especially these last seven days I have put it into practice and everything has looked better for me. Thank you for these words 🙏
👍🙂👍
It is always good to see the positive side of things, I have visited parks that are very poorly maintained, with garbage and it is a real shame because they are huge spaces with lots of vegetation that today is sorely lacking, but hey, in the pictures it looks very nice despite what you mention hehe 😊
Yes, in fact although they don't clean up the leaves on the ground much, the part with trash is towards the end, and maybe that's why it's not very noticeable, but beyond the government taking care of the park, it would be great if people would cooperate as well. I think that by picking up the garbage, the leaves, mowing the lawn and washing the pools everything would be perfect again.
Gracias amiga...
Seeing this pictures is enough to make one's day
What an interesting pictures.
That's right, and being in this place also gladdens the soul. Thank you for these words my friend, I appreciate it very much...
