A beautiful walk and a delicious meal (English/Spanish)

Love greetings to all my Hive friends, especially to the Wednesday adventurers. Today I come to tell you about a very special ride I did with my dear @aly.squid to the city of San Cristobal. It was a quick ride but we enjoyed it very much, because it is always a joy to be able to go out on the bike and ride to the city and see the people, see the beautiful landscapes and finally enjoy a nice meal. In the bustling city of San Cristobal, there is a special place that combines the best of Venezuelan seasoning with exotic Chinese cuisine. It is Nan King, a restaurant that has earned the reputation, for 52 long years, of being one of the best places to enjoy Chinese food with a Creole touch.

On a beautiful afternoon a few days ago, we decided to take a stroll over to Nan King to enjoy their famous fried rice. Although the house specialty is fried rice with meat, we always opt for the vegetarian version. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were enveloped by the delicious aroma of freshly prepared food and the traditional Chinese decor that adorned the place.

Once we were seated at our table, it didn't take us long to place our order. While we waited, we enjoyed some nice music and as always a pleasant conversation between the two of them. Quickly, our vegetarian fried rice arrived at the table and we couldn't resist taking a bite. The taste was simply spectacular, the combination of fresh vegetables with the rice sautéed in soy sauce transported us to a world of unparalleled flavors and textures. I was surprised that on this occasion, they added broccoli and cauliflower to the rice, usually it does not bring these vegetables, but I must admit it was a great detail because it certainly enriched the dish.

After enjoying our succulent lunch, we decided to take a stroll around the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Nan King is located in a beautiful garden, perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon in the company of friends and family. Also in the surrounding area, there is a beautiful pond with orange fish. A small sign announces that the fish cannot be fed as they have a special diet. Undoubtedly, Nan King is the ideal place to share special moments and delight in authentic flavors.

Our tour did not end there. When we left after enjoying our meal, we went to the big cosechar, to enjoy dessert. We ordered a traditional quesillo, which is a milk based dessert, I have ever shared in my blog my quesillo recipe. But the one from the great harvest is really spectacular, in texture and flavor.

All in all, this was a great ride. Rolling down the road and finally enjoying a delicious meal with my favorite dessert and of course with my favorite company; it really is something I deeply treasure. The Nan King is much more than just a Chinese restaurant, it is a gastronomic destination that invites you to explore flavors and enjoy unforgettable moments. Un bello paseo y una deliciosa comida (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los aventureros de los miércoles. El día de hoy vengo a contarles acerca de un paseo muy especial, que hice con mi querida @aly.squid a la cuidad de San Cristóbal. Fue un paseo rápido pero lo disfrutamos mucho, porque siempre es una dicha poder salir en la moto y rodar hasta la ciudad y ver a la gente, velos los bellos paisajes y finalmente disfrutar de una rica comida. En la bulliciosa ciudad de San Cristobal, existe un lugar especial que combina lo mejor de la sazón venezolana con la exótica cocina china. Se trata de Nan King, un restaurante que se ha ganado la reputación, durante 52 largos años, de ser uno de los mejores lugares para disfrutar de comida china con un toque criollo.

En una hermosa tarde hace unos días, decidimos hacer un paseo hasta Nan King para disfrutar de su famoso arroz frito. A pesar de que la especialidad de la casa es el arroz frito con carne, nosotras siempre optamos por la versión vegetariana. Desde que entramos al restaurante, nos envolvió el delicioso aroma de la comida recién preparada y la decoración tradicional china que adornaba el lugar.

Una vez sentadas en nuestra mesa, no tardamos en pedir nuestra orden. Mientras esperábamos, pudimos disfrutar de una agradable música y como siempre una amena conversación entre las dos. Rápidamente, nuestro arroz frito vegetariano llegó a la mesa y no pudimos resistirnos a darle un bocado. El sabor era simplemente espectacular, la combinación de vegetales frescos con el arroz salteado en salsa de soja nos transportó a un mundo de sabores y texturas inigualables. Me sorprendió que en esta ocasión, agregaron brócoli y coliflor al arroz, generalmente no trae estos vegetales, pero debo admitir que fue un gran detalle porque sin duda enriqueció el plato.

Después de disfrutar de nuestro suculento almuerzo, decidimos dar un paseo por los alrededores del restaurante. Nos sorprendió gratamente descubrir que Nan King se encuentra ubicado en un hermoso jardín, perfecto para disfrutar de una tarde soleada en compañía de amigos y familiares. También en sus alrededores, hay un bello estanque con peces naranja. Un pequeño cartel anuncia que a los peces no se les puede alimentar ya que tienen una dieta especial. Sin duda, Nan King es el lugar ideal para compartir momentos especiales y deleitarse con sabores auténticos.

Nuestro paseo no terminó allí. Cuando salimos después de disfrutar de la comida, fuimos a la gran cosechar, a disfrutar del postre. Pedimos un tradicional quesillo, que es un postre a base de leche, alguna vez he compartido en mi blog mi receta del quesillo. Pero el de la gran cosecha es realmente espectacular, en textura y sabor.

En definitiva, este fue un grandioso paseo. Rodar por la carretera y finalmente disfrutar de una deliciosa comida con mi postre favorito y por supuesto con mi compañía favorita; realmente es algo que atesoro profundamente. El Nan King es mucho más que un simple restaurante chino, es un destino gastronómico que te invita a explorar sabores y disfrutar de momentos inolvidables. Además de un excelente ambiente y atención.
