Now that you mention the special sock for varicose veins, I have been trying for a long time to convince my Mom to use them, she also has varicose veins and needs something like that for her legs.

In Argentina my mother was not told anything, but here the doctors told her it was necessary. My mother has had varicose veins surgery and she has to wear them.
