Not sure how our pets would react when they don't enjoy getting their feet wet on the lawn after rain. Snow may be different!

That depends on the snow, but I haven't seen a dog yet that didn't love it. Even our cats have fun on the balcony, but the snow isn't that high there 😉
Saturday I took photos of which one is below, Sunday I took photos somewhere else and today I have been in Slovenia ... taking photos 😁 I am fully recharged and hope you have also had a relaxing weekend and a great start into the new week, apart from the power downs which are more than annoying, of course.

Today was my first time crossing the border since August, I believe, and it was a great feeling to see these places again 😀
We pay our taxes with the salary we get and each year we hopefully get some money back when we fill out a form for the tax office wherein we tell them additional costs we have had.
No riding anymore before the Spring - the bike has gone to sleep during the Winter. We have already ice on shadow places on the roads and wet leaves make it dangerous to ride anyway.

Border hopping sounds great in the comfort of the car where you can still stop to enjoy whenever you feel you see something interesting. Bike on ice I would imagine is dangerous, our drivers can barely manage in rain, let alone snow, ice or any other conditions....
When employed here it is much the same, now retired one has to take in funds from investments and earnings. Both sons nor husband have a clue so I deal with them all, now at a point in life where I no longer enjoy doing what I used to do!
Now I go to enjoy a !BEER perhaps later a little drop of !WINE after dinner which is most definitely not !PIZZA tonight.... Put on the Chef outfit and cook.

When you are retired it's working the same way here - the taxes are paid from the monthly money. Only if you have separate funds or such, maybe earnings from a crypto blog 😎 you might have to do it on your own. When I learned these things at school it was all so simple and easy, but over the years the laws have become so complicated.

World has gone crazy with laws within laws making life more difficult for everyone, we are taxed exceptionally high on products and services, not only on earnings.
Growing up inflation was mostly unheard of, today it has become a green monster lurking. After the war years a time of working together appeared to stabilize people, now slowly accelerating into a frenzy of disharmony, no trust in leaders once more, who knows what will be next?

I think it's to confuse people. Many people don't even try to get money back from the tax office because they don't know how to do it or think it's too complicated. I have to admit that the online forms have become pretty easy to use though.
I know that there are a lot bad things going on at the moment and I do hope that you will see a happy end.
