Sadly I missed most of that as I was always out in the country working to keep a roof over my family's head.
It was difficult, as those days I was young and first had to do an apprenticeship.
But I soon also took on private jobs that helped with the income.
The bad part was that I missed most of the home life, as I could only get back every second weekend for many years.
So, you can certainly be appreciative of your blessings and I can see that you are!

My father has been working on construction sites in the whole country and we saw him only every two weeks, so I know what you mean Zac, and that's why I appreciate it that I have been with my family every single day 😊

Yes, once again you know exactly what I am talking about and it was not because your father didn't love you, but because he loved you so much that he gave of himself in denial so that he could provide for his family.
Your blessing to him is that you have turned out so well, so he knows that his efforts were not wasted.
