These images are uploaded straight out of the camera. Shot in JPEG with a manual lens in a busy town of Jagna, Bohol, Philippines.
I often visit this town because this is the nearest town that has a legit grocery store that accepts credit cards, it's challenging to get cash in our province, at least in our town most especially when it's payday or 4Ps beneficiaries are withdrawing money from the ATMs in our village and so we resort to just using the card during groceries instead.
But my mother wanted to bring her roasted peanuts and have them processed. I agreed we should go together as I have to drop my first ever Shopee item sold at a JnT branch. I sell thrift ready-to-wear children's clothes though if you are curious.
In our province, bao (ba-o) is already being used as public transport. In Jagna, they somehow have switched to this already and the dominant color is yellow. There are still other colors though and it's interesting to just observe how these drivers move around the town.
This driver here was waiting in line and decided to chill a bit bringing up his feet. It was raining too before we came here, this explains why there's a pit of water here, used it as reflection. As you can see, public vehicles here are required to put their plate number all around the vehicle.
While waiting for the peanuts to be grounded, we walked around the town. I shared a bit of Jagna a few months ago but I just a mobile phone for that. This was the first time to use an actual camera. I used a Fujifilm X-T1 with a Carenar 28mm f/2.8 and a Helios 44m-4 58mm f/2.

Jagna has McDonald's and this is also the reason why we also visit the town, Matti loves the McDo fries! Whenever we pass by the town and he sees the tall sign, he'd always say mama, it's McDo!
Unfortunately, we are still waiting for them to open their play area at the second floor. They have closed it down since the pandemic. I guess it's time for them to welcome kids and play over there!

Going further to the wet section, we didn't enter though because we have Matti with us so we just stayed at the roadside and took shots of some actions in the market. Street food vendors are all around the area. I must say that Jagna has a better wet market and they got an airconditioned comfort room here too!
Moving forward, we reached the bridge and it was the last stop because we have received a notice from my mother that the peanut butter was done! But before we went to pick her up, I took shots of this bridge.
A few years back, this area here was all over the local news because a newborn baby was thrown here. The poor baby was inside a box and she was dead! Everyone felt sorry for that innocent angel. It's just sad to know that there are mothers who could dare do that to their babies.
I am not into manual lenses. I don't like the experience of adjusting the focus and it's challenging to get a sharp shot, especially with moving subjects like a walking civilian or an animal. For me, autofocus is still the best.
Thank you for joining me today on this Wednesday Walk entry! Have a great one ahead!
