Hello Hivers
Cootes Paradise
This is a natural paradise, in the heart of a mid size city. Over 1,100 hectares of wetlands, marsh, waterway, conifer and deciduous forests. One of the most bio diverse areas in the country.
It was named after a British Officer who hunted in the area around 1780.....
Many species use this area, including coyotes, deer, and bald eagles have started ....
nesting in the marsh.
One of my favourite places to hike.
Wonderful
Thank you, the photos don't do it justice, the diversity is quite something.
You're welcome
